Review of RTU

First of all, we talk about the campus details. Rtu has 375 acres lush green campus.RTU is situated near the hanging bridge Kota. Roads on the college campus are very good. Rate doesn't have a developed campus yet. There are blocks for different streams and branches. The process for admission is very simple. For B.E/BTECH Students Admissions are made through counseling based on rank obtained in JEE Mains Seat vacant after JEE Mains counseling are filled on merit basis in 10+2. The application process for admissions to RTU is done online through REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process). we can change branches in the internal sliding process on a merit basis. This is the official website of reap (RTU.ac.in/RTU/reap ). This is the best government college after IIT(jodhpur) and MNIT in Rajasthan. It has all the streams which you want. I am interested to do BTECH in the civil engineering branch. So i choose this course. The faculty of the civil department is very well experienced. Most of them are graduated from IITs. In every section there 80 Students which are further divided into batches that have 20 students so the teacher can easily interact with Students. Teachers are very hardworking. when the semester starts after 1 and half months the midterms exams will conduct. which are medium those who have studied for 2 hours daily can easliy pass the exam

Almost 100% of students got summer internships, of which 20% of students got it from college on a merit basis and others got it on their own. Almost 10 students went for internships. 5-6 students got placed in the civil field, and other students went mostly for marketing companies as interns

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. mostly the software and IT companies visit the campus. The companies which are visited the previous year TCS, nagarro, CESC limited, metacube, Wipro, and many more which offered an average package of 5 lakhs per annum. The highest package was given to the student of IT branch by TCS the package is of 7 lakhs per annum. Almost 60% of students getting placements every year. I want to do a master's in construction and management.

The branches are divided into two categories 1= GAS,2= SFS The fee structure for SFS students is higher than GAS students. Because they are government allotted seats. A fee of 1 yr for SFS students is 78,200 and for GAS students fee of 1yr is 35000. Scholarship are not there.

In RTU there are 2 mega fests that will be conducted every year. 1st is a cultural fest name as 'ANUKRITI' which is conducted in March every year. And 2nd fest is 'THAR' which is a technique fest which is conducted in the month of March. THAR is the biggest technical fest in Rajasthan. The library is very well. conditioned almost 1lakhs books are there. The classrooms are very big and good. All types of sports ground are present in RTU. RTU has played many championships in another college of India. There are almost 15 technical and non-technical clubs are present for the students and by the students. Recently bharat plasma website was made by student.of Rtu. Collegeconexian app was made by student of rtu.

Three types of rooms are there. Single bed, double bed, triple bed. The rooms are very big and have good ventilating. Table, chairs, almirah all the given by the college to students. The meal is very nice, healthy and tasty. For every single day the menu is different. On Sunday special diet will be given. For hostel the registration Process is offline and hostels are allotted on the basis of merit list. For single bed fees per sem=12000rs, for double bed=10500rs and for triple bed= 9000 and the mess fees is 3000rs per month. Also the rented rooms are also there. Which has rent approx 4000rs per month

No, there is no written test for admission. Admission is given on the basis of jee mains rank and score and if seats are still vacant then admission is given on basis of 10+2. The priority will be given to the jee mains aspirants Whole Admission Process is conducted online through REAP(Rajasthan engineering admission Process). According to the merit list prepared by RTU, the admissions are given to the students. Students will be considered eligible for admissions to UG programmes if they have acquired a minimum of 45% to 55% aggregate marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates), depending on the programme.
