Remarks

We have to give IPUCET that is the entrance exam for IP university and then after that, we have to pay 40k for counseling and attend the counseling. There are several rounds of counseling and are we are allotted colleges during the process and the colleges allotted depends upon our rank and our preferences filled.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is really interesting and throughout the period of 3 years, we learn different subjects related to journalism and mass communication. The faculty is very nice and cooperative. They make the learning really easy and interesting.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 69000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Well, I am in my first year right now and they want us to get our internships by ourselves but I guess they will be providing us the internship in the next semester for sure. Let's see how it goes.

Placement Experience

Well, I am a first-year student, I really don't know about the placement but I have heard that they provide average placements but let's see how it goes and for that I will have to wait for two years.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay 40,000 at the time of counseling and at the time of reporting we have to pay 69,000. I don't think there is any scholarship in the college but I believe there is some quota for economically weaker sections of the society.

Campus Life

3.5

I can't answer this because my batch is of 2020. I only went to my college like 3 times and it was a really cool campus and really good infrastructure. There are various societies in the college and they also conduct a fest named spandan.

Dislikes

Faculty overall quality is very poor. Quest

Placement Experience:

Placement of our college is pretty good almost 80% students get good placement but at the same time its very important to know that you will get college placement at end of you masters as DSJ provides Five year integrated programme in journalism. If you exit your college after bachelor you might get placement from outside campus.

Our college review

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the campus placement after their 3rd - 4th semester. The highest package we got is about 300000 annually. As most of the students get placed in very good companies. After getting this degree I'm going to work in this field as I'm interested in video editing.

A new perspective

Remarks:

Our higher management was very strict and unnecessary non enthusiastic and were not open to experimentation. Our college would invest less on improvising more on increasing fees. No provision of hostel made it worst. The cource offered were good and unique but everything else was average

Great opportunities to explore the field

Remarks:

The teaching and the education part of this college is really appreciable and very useful. People are helpful and take interests in your issues bad the major pit fall of the organisation is the infrastructure and the locality. It is located in a very low area and surrounds are very bad.

Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
