Remarks

Good placement records. Good infrastructure. Variety of courses to choose from, several clubs and chapters. Lots of competition to thrive and refine the skills. Admission through University's own entrance exam. Scholarship based on performance in the entrance exam. Cons is too many students class size is large.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is advanced and up to date. Flexible credits and course selection as per students' will. Time slots for classes and faculty can be chosen by student via online portal at the start of semester. Exams are moderately difficult to average difficulty. Easy to pass with the marks distribution of over all course. Combination of open book and normal examinations. Stress free learning. Faculty to student ratio in core courses is not very good sometimes. I chose B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering because I've had interest in it since school days and heard the college had good record with placements and ample opportunities to learn and prosper in this course.

Internships Opportunities

I was offered internship along with full time job opportunity. Stipend offered to me was 35,000 inr for 6 months. It included 1 month training then project as a full stack developer. Prior to onboarding a live client project as a full time employee. Tasks included development work in addition to brainstorming to solve design related problems as well. Backend work, frontend and also devops work.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement in the 7th semester. And if offered internship + placement then 8th semester is spent during the internship at the company. A large number of companies visited. Including Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Cisco, many startups as well as other companies too. Microsoft offered the biggest salary package of about 40lacs to 7-8 students. Amazon made much more number of offers including several internships as well as full time job offers. Profiles offered were largely from SDEs role.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Scholarships are provided on tuition fees based on entrance exam performance. Additional scholarships are also provided based on need per government schemes. Campus job record is excellent. Lots of companies visit every year. Specially for computer science and IT courses. Internships are available while in the college itself too with the entrepreneurship cell established within the college campus.Varying fee structure based on rank scored in the entrance exams.

Campus Life

Campus is great. Large campus with lots of facilities available. Easy commute in the campus. Lots of greenery. Variety of options to choose from for hostel accomodation with different budgets. Annual tech and Cultural festa are conducted in addition to regular activities throughout the year organised by carious clubs of students.

Admission

Online examination is conducted for admission. Syllabus includes mathematics, physics, chemistry and general aptitude.GDs and tests are conducted in the campus by companies during job placement and hiring

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
