Close to my home, it's ba central university, foreigners also come to study so more diverse classroom. Fees is less as compared to private institutions. Experienced faculty members, support from peer and senior. Well equipped library and cyber library facility. Caring supportive staffs .
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BA history to help me in UPSC preparation. 78 students in one class in first year. In 3rd year it gets reduced. Faculty members were very qualified having phd. Degree. Teaching method was good , varied from teacher to teacher. Exams were timely, In 2020, Online exams were held during covid to save our time. Exams were quite easy if u attend classes.
Internships Opportunities
There were no internship for BA history students. But BA tourism students went for a internship during Pravasi Bhartiya Divas. My friends went for 4-5 days ,they were paid money and they enjoyed this internship as well.
Placement Experience
No placement for BA History students. But BA in travel and tourism, psychology students soory less for their placement. Other BA students can opt for gov. Jobs like CGL, UPSC, State PCS etc. Generally BA students opt for civil service so a serious student can surely make it as our seniors have done.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is less as it is Central University. Hardly there is any increase in fees every year. Cost of study is low to suffice poor and lower income groups. PG houses are also cheap in surrounding areas. UP scholarship can be availed for financial assistance. One can apply for graduation level jobs after this course. As much I know there is no campus placement for BA history. But there is a placement cell for other such courses.
Campus Life
Social is souch enjoyable. Each faculty has its own annual function in march.BHU has its annual function called SPANDAN in april.A number of literary, quiz, essy, debates, sports events go on throughout the year. Central library has millions of books , magazines, foreign newspaper, thesis,journal,manuscript, research papers,etc. Classrooms have wifi. University sports board conduct many sports events. At university level. Faculties also conduct sports events. Each faculty have their own poetry group, dance group, quiz group etc. Students are involved in social services also through many student made organizations.
