Remarks

I cant say my college was best but pretty good. There was many plus point to attend this college but negatives are also there.. politics is a negative things in this college and uper education facilities is not such a good decorated.

There was no entrance examination. Academics score was granted to admission for the course.

Its really good and there was also a good overview for new thinking and opportunities.

No, as the course in arts oriented there was no facilities to internship.

Oh.. in this section my college done very good job.. there took place many cultural programs as rabindrajayanti( celebration of Rabindra nath thakur's birth) bosonto utsob( holi) anual cultural programs and many others cultural programs happens there and all students and stuff also attended bliss fully.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes there was a fess structure also but its not much. Some few token money was taken in yearly system but this is not so much that any one had to pay in struggle.

There was available this facility for students with reservation system.

Campus life was full of joy in sex ratio girls are ahead to boys! Politics is a most strong controversial part of this college. They have few powers but it doesn't harmful for campus life..

A Balanced and Enriching Academic Experience

classes, concept clearing process, teachers with friendly behaviour

nothing much. Everything was good overall. If only the college could guide a bit about the placement program then it could be better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is comprehensive and relevant covering literary theory, diverse texts and critical analysis. It prepares students for research and teaching. Exams are moderately challenging and well scheduled throughout the semester.

The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

Likes

Lush green and lovely campus, gives a perfect city vibes as well as greenery around
Huge social influence, and good knowledgable people around who are ready to discuss on any intellectual topics.
Expert faculty with proper emphasis on lecture quality, delivery, etc. Every faculty has a phD in their respective field.

Dislikes

Hectic lifestyle, there is a bit of pressure on syllabus completion
Exams conducted are a bit difficult with a higher frequency on conducting
Lack of Funding for campus development and deployment of proper infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.

Likes

The behavior of the college staff is very good along with the teachers.
The campus is huge, along with a lot of amenities such as AC & smart classrooms, playgrounds, library, auditorium etc.
The college provides a great learning opportunity by internship opportunities at various companies.

Dislikes

There is a reason to worry as there are a lot of thieves around that area.
The nearby places of the college are not very safe, especially for women to travel at night.
The admissions criteria of this college are very tough. A student has to be highly qualified.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had a keen interest in this subject. The faculty was very good, including the staff members and the academic teachers as well. The teachers were highly qualified and helped a lot in their studies. The exams were held timely under the supervision of the college staff members.

Admission:

For pursuing Post graduation students never have to appear in any entrance examination. I passed my graduation from this college in the English department securing 65% of marks and hence choose this college for postgraduation as well.

The program of distance learning from University of Kalyani is the best Distance learning program at that I have ever come across. The distance program provides all of the facilities same as any regular program which makes it a wonderful option for all of the student who cannot afford to go to college regularly.

Remarks:

I am both positive and negative marks started with positive the factories where very good well well qualified there is no ragging the environment is eco friendly people very helpful there is no senior junior bond everyone is equal. The negative were enormous starting with the infrastructure in some places there are new buildings halls which are not even maintained and that's the biggest problem facilities are not given to student in the hostel so much carelessness is there in the routine work people are very lazy to do their working time authority is very slow to do their workrecreational activities other than academics are very less a student didn't get the time for recreational and facilities were also not there I come modern infrastructure universities should be so we have to change this things to do the university prosper in the later year in the first and foremost thing is determination a that everyone should give efforts to make our university Pride and worthful.
