Remarks

I chose this college because of the perfect course curriculum with a reasonable fees and also VIT is the most reputed private university. Admission for M.Sc. curriculum is taken on the basis of UG percentage. A plenty of good information I got from Quora and

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is perfect with proper theoretical and practical concepts included, the course is divided into 4 semesters. It's assessment procedure is also quite impressive with 2 continue assessments before Semester exam and 2 digital assignments and a quiz based on the course modules. Faculty for this course is from maths background mostly with Ph.D. degree. There is a bit lack of knowledge in the new useful programming software which needs an improvement by involving more faculty from computer background.

Internships Opportunities

4

I have registered in the placement cell and they will be providing information about internships too. But for my course the internship placements start from 3rd semester. We have 3 projects in first 3 semesters which are to be presented in Science, Engineering and Technology conference which commence every year and also allows outside scholars to present their papers.

Placement Experience

4.5

For M.Sc. course, students become eligible for placements in internship after completing first year and may become a permanent employee there too or can apply for other placement offers in final semester. Since my course was introduced in 2020 only and I am in the very first batch of this course so cannot tell about the highest package or average package right now. But for most of the B.Tech courses average package is 5 Lakh per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is annual, INR 80000 course fee with 2000 caution money. No Scholarship provided by the college. There is a separate department for Placement which takes care of providing placement information and training of students for various categories of jobs.

Campus Life

4

Due to Covid-19 situation, the entire 2020 batch missed to get into the campus. But there is an annual Riviera and many tech fests are held since VIT is known for its B.Tech courses. Many Social groups are there run by students like- being_vitian, dscvitvellore, vitdays, vit.chennai (all instagram groups).

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Studying Master of commerce is okay. The same thing and few same subjects which I studied in undergraduate. Classes are good and we are also having some gaps. Not a big difference and 1 or 2 subjects are new for us. I want to suggest that to give holiday after the semester exams. But not before that. It is quite difficult for us to study. It will be easy for us to ask doubts.
