Remarks
The admission process is based on 60% grade marks and 40% from the scores of the entrance examination. 60% of seats were reserved for the unreserved category. I got my admission under the OBC category. I have also applied to other colleges under GU but I got admission here so didn't opt for the other. There are a total of 66 under GU for M.com, students from Gu and other universities can also apply. 50% of the preference is given more to the Gu students and the rest are equal for all.
Course Curriculum Overview
M.com is a course that one should opt for only when he/she has an aim to do p.h.d else it can be only a degree that gives you better priority than the average b.com students. Professors at GU are helpful and make the syllabus easy to grab. The exam is held timely but results are late. I choose this course to do a p.h.d
Placement Experience
There are Amazon, Flipkart, and federal bank placements at GU, and also department under the government takes part, students from the 3rd semester can join placements. A very low number of students get placements and also most of them have different fields they want to explore so.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost Of M.com at Gu is negligible. you need to pay only 6000 rs/annum. Also if the student's income is very low. They get free admission also. There are various scholarships at GU. One can check their website for details.
Campus Life
Yearly a sports and annual festival is celebrated at GU, freshman social and farewell are the not to miss parties. At Saraswati puja, different departments prepare different pandals and it's a day of celebration. At the commerce department, a manifesto commercio is done where only the people of the department fight. The election is an integral part of GU., every hostel is a group and fights their battle, one can never miss any fun.
