Review of my college

After giving my JEE Mains and West Bengal Joint exam I got admission to this college. I got to know about this college from one of my cousins who is a year senior to me. The admission process was pretty basic. Just I have to bring the West Bengal joint allocation letter and then fill up all the details which are necessary like school marks and leaving certificates and details of me and my parents and then they took deposit some amount of money which include the admission money and first semester fees. So the overall admission process was smooth. I took Computer Science as my first priority and got it. There are many other streams to be chosen like Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical engineering and many more. And also my college provides placements on-campus and off-campus also. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Capgemini come for placements. And I do not have any kind of quota.

My first priority was computer science and I got it because I was interested in this field since high school. Also, the college faculties are helpful and provide with every necessary information needed for us to grow.

Internshala provides various intership opportunities on the basis of merit. It does provide internships with striped of two thousand to 10000 rupees per month. Also, we have done or done college projects which are innovative and we submit them for patent too. Some of our colleagues have even filed a patent and got selected too.

My college does provide many pieces of training, industrial training and hands-on training also gate class the provided by the college. FromEnd of the 3rd year itself, students are eligible to get placed. Some of the companies visited are Tata Consultancy Services, Capgemini etc. Almost 90% of the students get placed every year. And my plans after getting my B TECH degree is to get a job first and then after experiencing I have thought of opening my own startup.

The general fee structure is 5 lakhs on average. And yes this college provides an opportunity for scholarships but the college itself does not provide them. College does provide tution fee waiver though. But one has to show that his or her family income is less than the specified one. Also, the college provides placements too. Almost 90% of students get placed after graduating.

Yes, my college does organise an annual tech fest every year where from other colleges to students comes with their innovative ideas. Also, the college has its own library which has all the necessary books and reading rooms too. All the semester books are provided by the college itself. The classrooms are quite good. The traditional class the good but the flip classes are just impressive. All flip classes have digital boards which really helps students to engage with their studies.
