Remarks

I applied for Thadomal Shahani Engineering College in the Information technology branch in Sindhi quota. The marks criteria for the IT branch was 62 in CET exam. The admission process was online, I got my name in round 1 and I freeze the seat and took the admission. And then form filling was there in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose IT because it is currently the most in trend industry and I also had an interest in computers. The faculty ratio is good as for every subject there are 2 teachers. Many teachers are Ph.D. holders and some are pursuing. The teaching method is good. Exams were taken according to the Mumbai University timings and exams were not that difficult as it depends on subjects.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Every year different and new companies come for internships. This year Deutsch Bank offered an analyst intern offer of 75,000 per month. There are many more internships provided with training and certifications. And on a variety of profiles like digital marketing, technical role, analyst, etc

Placement Experience

5

From semester 6 students become eligible for placements. Companies like Amazon, Jp Morgan, Deutsch Bank, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Browser Stack, etc. The highest package offered was 19.63 L for 20-21 and the average package is 6 to 7L. Profiles are Software Engineer, Business Analyst, Developer, etc. More than 95% of students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for a middle class are a little high compared to other colleges. But there are government schemes available for the economically backward class that is EBC, the people having an annual income of less than 8 lakh can apply for this scheme and there is in college guidance for this. Campus placement is really a good many big companies come to the college and offer great packages. For the year 2020-21, the highest package offered was 19.63 lakh per annum

Campus Life

5

Trifles are the main event of the college that is held in March every year. And many more events take place in the period of Feb and March. Many books are available in the library for students of every year and every branch. There are Ac classrooms with a projector in every classroom. There are some sports events that take place annually and extra activities are conducted from time to time. There are many clubs and social groups that are CSE, IETE, NSE, etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
