Banaras Hindu University (BHU) It's a central university. We can take admission here by giving the entrance exam (bhu uet). Admission criteria- minimum percentage in 12th standard is 50%. The minimum percentage in the 10th standard is 50%. After giving the entrance exam if we are selected then we will get a call letter from the bhu administration. In the call letter, they mention that you are selected for the counselling process and when you have to visit the university for counselling. In counselling, they check our admission documents. For any need of help, the volunteer is available there, they are very helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am from the sociology department. Sociology is a very interesting subject, and professors are very understanding here whenever you need any help they are ready to help you out. Students are of friendly nature they are too very helpful. You will love the campus surrounding, it's nature friendly. B.A. social science sociology honours are for three years in which there will be a total of six semesters. For clearing semester exam you have to study syllabus important topics and previous year question papers.
Fees and Financial Aid
B.A. Social science sociology honours fee per year for general candidate is 7800/- There is no campus placement for sociology students. The scholarship is available for Uttar Pradesh student's only.
Campus Life
Kashiyatra, also known as ky, is the annual socio-cultural festival of the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi.it is a four day long event held in January every year and is one of the most prominent college festivals in India. Participants from all over the country compete in the fields of literature, music and arts to find the best amongst themselves. The five day inter-faculty youth festival of Banaras Hindu University is 'spandan'. A library facility is also available you can read any books and journals there. Life at bhu is just awesome. Once you got admission you will definitely not going to regret it.
