I took MH-Cet in year 2010 for applying state engineering colleges. I secured 155 out of 200. I always wanted to be enrolled for either Computer or IT department. MIT Pune was best choice I had for Computer department and thus I applied for the same.

Curriculum was good to give you an exposure to various technologies. Every semester we had new language which covered the basics of the same. With vast curriculum, the focus on research was not that high as main objective was to learn various technologies over period of 3 years.

Yes, For some students the college did provide and option to pursue internship after completion of curriculum. I don't know the exact stipend being paid but the internship was mostly as lab assistants, conducting lab practicals.

Placement in MIT college was one of the best in the city. The place started from 3 year last semester where around 100 companies visited campus for the placement drive. Among major names were, TCS, Infosys,IBM,Tech M, Cognizant. Most of the companies required First class as their eligibility criteria. The average package offered was around 3 lakhs per annum

There were numerous events celebrated by various departments of the college. Each department hosted an annual technical event. Computer Dept host event named "intexication" which included many activities. Code quiz. General quiz, treasure hunt, gaming competition etc.

Fee structure was on a higher side by comparing the fees with other colleges. The first year fee was around 54000 rs. The fee did increase each year and there was some raise in the same. The total fee for Final year had increased to around 64000 rs.

The college offered full or half fee waiver based on different criteria. the Lower category students has entire tuition fee waivers. Where as student with poor financial background were given scholarship upto waiver of half of the tuition fees.

Hostel facilities were good. I personally did not live in hostel facility so wont be commenting on same. I stayed in flat shared by 2 other classamtes and rent was around 2-3k. Mess food was average .

Exam structure is semester based. First year was generic and common syllabus for all department students with 5 subjects semester. Later 3 years there were around 30 courses with 5 courses per semester. Semester also included 3 practical labs. So total exam per semester was 5 courses plus 3 lab practicals. Final year there was project work which had weight age if 1 course plus 1 lab practical.

The admission process was online. Firstly we had to fill online CAP form by specifying around 40 options which we would like to apply for. After first list of admission was declared we has option to change CAP options. This continued till 3 rounds and after that there was one on one selection process. I secured IT department in first round and Computer Dept in second.

Faculty was good. For first year staff was relatively young but was knowledgeable. Over period of 3 years in computer department the staff for last year was very well experienced. Lab facilities and technical assistants were also good and had sound knowledge of lab practicals being conducted.
