Remarks
The Economic Times Recruiters Survey has ranked BHU's Institute of Management among top 50 management colleges. A minimum percentile of 50 is required by general category candidates to be considered for admission into the MBA program. For SC & ST candidates, the minimum score has to be 45 percentile. Those who fulfil this criteria are invited for group discussion and personal interviews. CAT score is given a weightage of 50% during the final selection process. The rest of the weightage is divided into 30% and 20% and assigned to GD&PI and academic performance.
Course Curriculum Overview
Objective of the curriculum is to enhance analytical understanding of basic management concepts to such an extent that students are able to comprehend financial reports of an organisation, recognise the nature of components in it and become excellent decision makers who know how to curb various economic issues. Micro & Macro Economics, Business Environment in India, Marketing Management Analysis amd Operative Research Technique are some of the subjects of MBA. The student to core faculty ratio is 8:1.
Placement Experience
Probation Officer, Risk Analyst, Business Developer, Associate Consultant and Human Resource Manager were some of the roles offered to the 2018-2020 batch of MBA students. SBI Life, DHL, Wipro, Infosys, Genpact, IDBI Bank, IFFCO and L&T Finance wee some of the top recruiters last year. Highest CTC was INR 16 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
First year's fee for MBA is Rs. 49807 and that for the second year is Rs. 49801. After the confirmation of admission, shortlisted candidates have to pay Rs. 2,000 as the offer acceptance fee(payable through demand draft).
Campus Life
The management institute of BHU has all the facilities for students: From 24*7 WiFi, Cyber Library and Seminar halls to swimming pool, gym and sports complex. Students can pursue any activity here. The clubs provide an opportunity to work towards something as a team. Media Club, Kalpavriksh, Sports Club, Social and Cultural clubs are some of the student clubs here.
