Remarks

I got admission to PSIT college through the UPSEE examination. In upsee examination, I got 175th rank. The first college which came to my mind was PSIT and I only fill this college name in the counselling process as it is the best and prestigious college in North India. Then I went to college for the counselling process and I easily took admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took admission in MCA for enhancing my knowledge in computer science and technology and I also want to work in the corporate sector. The faculty is very knowledgeable, gentle and also supportive in nature.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

I have never seen any private college providing such exceptional placements. Even students who are not that skilled gets a placement because of the best technical training provided by the college. Students get placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and many more. Many MNCs comes to college every year. The average salary offered by them 5-6 LPA and the highest package offered was 19 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are more than normal but studies provide value for money. There are many scholarship schemes for the topper and those students who are punctual.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many annual and tech fest conducted by PSIT every year and these are Waves, Ignitia, Fun Fista and many more. Some technical events organized by the college are HACKWITHPSIT and Wincubation.

College life at Galgotias

Likes

Faculties are supportive. They are pretty approachable whenever you need them, they'll their best to resolve your doubts and problems
Labs and classrooms ar every engaging and make it very interactive for the students to participate in.
Cafeteria and the food is really fine, you'll get every variety in there.

Dislikes

Sometimes wifi may not work, but only sometimes
Schedule is very tight packed, you need to be very discipline to take out your time for extra preparation.
Morning classes starts from 8:30, students coming from far away may find it difficult to travel

Placement Experience:

To be honest, placements here are pretty decent, but they really depend on how much effort you put into your own projects, internship and how well you've enhanced your skills. You can start appearing for campus drives from the 3rd semester, so you don't get much of a break. The company list is a mix we get some big tech firms and a bunch of startups too.

I did not take any entrance exams as I was eligible for enrollment directly based on my academic marks in graduation and Xth and XIIth. I also got a discount of fee based on the same. I opted for Amity distance learning because it is the best option for distance learning. They provide a lot of resources both online and offline to succeed in the course.

the only reason i choose this college was because i availed fee wavier and our financial condition was not so good back then. I failed to score good marks in JEE advanced or else i would've enrolled in some iit. The college does try to match its pace with tier 1 colleges but there's a lot more to be done. The college has direct as well as counselling based admission. Direct admission include a test and interview while counselling is done on the basis of competitive exam score...Read More
