Remarks

The college management is now trying to implement a drastic change in terms of academics, syllabus and extra curricular activities. They always wish to maintain the fact that Kongu students are the disciplined.

Entrance Preview

I entered the college through management quota. The college and the staffs are friendly. No special entrance examination fir admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

Nice and well developed syllabus. Syllabus book will be handed over to the students with reference books. This will be very useful for the students to prepare for exam.

Internships Opportunities

Internship will not be offered to all the students in last years. Only those with 80% will be allowed and you need to find your own company. Others can go for intern during sem holidays.

Placement Experience

Regarding placement, vast maority gets placed in IT sector.Placement training will be very helpful and useful.Accenture, CTS, Infosys, Wipro are the 4 major recruiters.

College Events

Enthusia, week, mxcel, nexus, infocruise, ignitro and many other. This is countless when consolidated for all departments.Open house exhibition is very famous one.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure for those through management qouta and counselling will be almost equal. Roughly 70 k per year and 45 k per year for hostel.One time fee of 20 k will be collected as placement training fee for students who got admitted through counselling which is worthy.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are not generally arranged by college. But the caste scholarships and other government scholarships will be offered. Top 5% of students in each department receive scholarship for each sem provided by thr college.

Campus Life

Campus is green and calm away from town. Hostel day will be celebrated each year. Kongu Convention Centre is the Asia's second largest auditorium. Robowar and RC race is conducted every year and management provides a good support for such functions.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good. Decent food but qhen compared with other hostel food, Kongu will be the best. Sharing of rooms will be your choice.

Alumni/Alumna

My seniors were helpful and it depends on individuals. Some seniors regularly give updates on openings in their company. Some seniors conducted motivation sessions before placements and they shared their experience.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is similar to all the colleges. Enough holidays were provided before exams(study holidays).

Faculty

Friendly and ready to help if u co operate. 10 doctorate holders were there in our department. Decent faculty: student ratio is maintained. Faculties will be helpful in assisting you during your projects.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
