I put KIET at top of my counselling and got CS branch. My upsee rank was around 9700-9800(GN). I didn't applied any quota for entering into the college To get CS in KIET your rank must be around 7k-10k. KIET is one of the best colleges in ghaziabad ,Uttar Pradesh
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in computer science that's why I opted for it. For the student ratio I would say it is 70%:30%(boys:girls) Teachers here are cooperative, hardworking, professional 1st year faculty are good almost all of them are PhD holder There are monthly class test and weekly assignment for us to solve Paper level is kind of moderate to hard
Placement Experience
In the CS department, the placement rate is about 90-95%. The highest package is about 27 Lacs per annum, the lowest package is about 3-3.5 Lacs per annum, and the average package is about 5-7 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Adobe, Wipro, Tata and many others. About 70-80% of students got internships. The companies are mainly from IT. Top roles offered are in the developing department.
Fees and Financial Aid
the course fees for BTech 1st year is 136000 and hostel fees is 94k. You can opt for UP government scholarship or National scholarship As I'm in 1st year I don't have much knowledge about placement but the average Package is around 5-8 lkpa
Campus Life
PRASTUTI 2K19 is an inter-college cultural fest consisting of various events to be organised on 6-7th April of 2019. The previous year response of our event was remarkable and this year too, we are expecting great success of the event.
Hostel Facilities
Decent hostel of KIET for Freshers. Triple seater rooms with attached toilets but no Wi-Fi or LAN. The mess is quite big and offers food better than hostel mess expectations. The hostel also has few equipments lying open in the name of Gym. Hostel has a Volleyball court and also a badminton court. It also has space for Playing cricket and Football. The deadline for going out of hostel is upto 7pm only. KIET has separate hostels for each year Students That's why chandragupta is purely a fresher's hostel. But Whatever facilities it may lack, it has its own loveliness because of People that you meet here in first year of Engineering. You are gonna love your life here.
