Remarks
The college is very good the management process here is quite old but its good even the faculties are good the only bad remark is the issue of water in the college washrooms apart from this its all good over here trust me you r gonna enjoy ure 4 years over here.
Entrance Preview
IIT JEE was the exam that is required for getting admission in this college after applying JEE you have to fill form of OJEE and the college preferences has to be given at that time. I preferred this college because this that oldest college of odisha and the name and status it holds is great.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is good, nearly comparable to what colleges under but follow i am in civil branch. We have two electives open and core that has to be chosen at the end of third year ie before final year. In 7th sem we have one cone and one open elective in 8th one more open elective subject.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are quiet satisfactory burla being a place situated in quiet a reserved area and out of town area with no airport access makes it quiet difficult for companies to come. But companies like LNT, delloite, tcs , tech Mahindra, infosys, wipro, etc do come.
College Events
Technical fest: samavesh its an awesome place to bring out the tech out f yourself cultural fest: vassaunt the time of relaxation and time to bring out the talent in yourself, Sports fest: illumine I am not a sports person so i was never interested. Anyhow various games are being played.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its feasible for non SSC(self sustaining course) students per semester fee is about 24000 hostel fee per year is 24000 for SSC students per semester fee is about 42000 hostel fee per year 24000.
Campus Life
Gender ratio basically in my class is near about 4:3 but if taken the college as a whole its 5:3 ( boys: girls) all the extracurricular are added in the fest robotics is a society in our college which is one f the best in india the seniors are too good the are always ready and welcoming to teach us.
Exam Structure
We have in all 8 semester over the 4 years we have 5 subjects and 4 labs in one semester (1st, 2nd, 3rd year) in final year we are left free with less burden due to the overloading burden of job and placement the question paper is not set in the college, but correction is done here itself.
Admission
I filled the JEE MAINS form, gave the examination then i had to fill the OJEE (odisha joint entrance examination) form then the college choice list has to be given with d respective branch required then as per your JEE main rank you get the admission.
Faculty
The faculty are superb here they are really well researched the all hold high degrees from very renowned colleges they are always welcoming students who want to clear their doubts they tell us the time which is comfortable both both of us and we can clear our doubts personally.
