Remarks
The process was very smooth. No rush. Marksheet were verified property. Fair admission process. The admission based on marks obtained on the BHU UET exam. So no such mishappenings. We were given proper seats. Our parents were treated with respect and the process went smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams were held on a regular basis. There were no problems whatsoever. Fair exams were taken. Attendance was more or less compulsory. We were given timely notes about topics. The teachers were very cooperative, but obviously not in the exam hall.
Internships Opportunities
Companies that came were Hindustan Unilever and many more such as agriculture-related companies. Mainly marketing roles were offered. Striped were about 10000 for the whole internship period. Files visits, selling products, marketing etc.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. We have 75 Percent campus placement and the number of companies that visited the last year was 52. Each company took around 2-3 students on average. The highest package for BSc students were 5-6 lakhs. The average package is 4 lakh. My plans are to do masters in Agribusiness management.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was 1500 for the odd semester and 250 rs for the even semesters. There were some opportunities for weaker sections where they could earn money while studying. And in the final year, we had field visits and we were given 18000 as a scholarship.
Campus Life
Yes, there were various sports activities like cricket, football, lawn tennis, badminton on the campus itself. We had our own ground alloted only for Agriculture students. Apart from that, we had running as well as other sports activities. In the section of cultural activities, we had many opportunities to show our talent like extempore, debate, quiz, mono acting, drama, singing and dancing as well.
