WBJEE college infrastructure is good authority is managing well this college,good past placement records of CSE and IT background student. so i choose this college with IT branch but these days when i am in last year placement is no good as compare to previous year this is an average college which are located in nice township surrounding of durgapur, west bengal.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure of IT in BCET is not so updated they are learning us old version syllabus according to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology Formerly known as west bengal university of technology the faculty gives us assignment and project time to time.The big fact here is student are not intrested to learn everything by faculty so faculty didn't pay more attention to students.
Internships Opportunities
No our college did not provide any internship and the college does not provide internship to any of students but time to time the provide Workshop seminar and all for first year students only.
Placement Experience
Placement is a big factor in all colleges.i observed here in college year by year the placement rate is decreasing.before three four year ago placement was good for IT CSE and ECE students these days placement is not so good its average below and the placement of other branch except CSE IT ECE are very poor.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure of this college is same like other college which are affiliated to MAKAUT if got a good rank and you are a resident of west bengal then you can get a good college with tuition fee waiver scheme i.e you will not have to pay tuition fee all the year fees are around 40k per sem for all B.Tech branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yea if student are belonging to Sc St Obc or Minority.They can avail scholarship by indian government. College will not provide any type of scholarship or loan facilities all these you will have to do from outside college.
Hostel Facilities
I stay outside hostel so i have no more idea about hostel room and quality standard and food facilities but what i have haired from the students who are staying in hostel they don't ever recommend that anyone should take hostel the food is not up to the mark.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni is very weak in our college the is good but not so helpful if once they got placed they never visit to college for atleast one look because of college activity they don't want to see college again.
Exam Structure
No its good but not so hectic the faculty did not pressurize students to be hectic all the student make himself so hectic only of because if the students are not active during lab and other examination the the faculty does not send good mark to universities for practical exam.so student will have to pay attention in lab and examination i think its an formality only.
Admission
I qualified through WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION and appeared in online counselling by WBJEE i scored 84000GEN rank in WBJEE to get Information tech branch i attened 1st round 2nd round and 3rd round and 4th round of counselling at last i got a seat 4th round.
Faculty
Faculty are not so qualified and intrested in CSE and IT department students have to take responsibilities to boost faculty to learn them otherwise if student are not interested faculty will not do anything the faculty gives us assignment and project time to time the big fact here is student are not interested to learn everything by faculty so faculty didn't pay more attention to students.
