Remarks

Overall, I one ask me to rate my college out of 10, I will give it a 8. Everything was good but nothing can be perfect. Personally, I didn't like the fine policy at JNU, it was way to high. Truly it has to be lower down. All the best JNU.

Entrance Preview

There was no such entrance examination for BCA in my college, but yes there was an interview cum counselling session. I opted this college because it is the best college for technical and professional studies in Rajasthan.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Curriculum for BCA was very updated in accordance to the current trends in the market and I was provided the opportunity to work on every possible common software and programming languages which are being used today. Moreover, there was regular feedback sessions with the H.O.D. and the faculty so that we can put up our ideas to improve the quality of education.

Internships Opportunities

Basically, there was no internship in BCA, B.Tech students get a chance for the internship in their 5 semester I guess. Management was planning to add one semester of internship program in BCA as well.

Placement Experience

3.5

Every student has the equal chance of getting placed in an organisation, depending upon his/her personal abilities. The university has not compromised at any point to attract best of the best organisations, be it be Microsoft, Amazon, etc. etc. Many students got placed in different companies ranging in the average package between 2 to 6 lakhs.

College Events

3.5

This is the most interesting part of our college, we were having number of events frequently. During my three years in college I got the chance to meet more than 20 celebrities including Ranbir Kapoor, Nargis Fakri, John Abraham, Mohit Chauhan, Preeti Zinta, Soha Ali Khan and many more. There is annual fest that continue for 3 days and many more events through out the year like sports fest, cultural fest and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Despite of extraordinary academic level and such world class facilities, when it comes to fee structure, Jaipur National University is really affordable. The fee for BCA was the lowest when compared to any university or college of the same level throughout the Rajasthan. If one is looking for a world class education and a feasible fee structure at the same time then JNU is the only institution.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, JNU does offer scholarships through two different ways, one is that you can get the scholarship on your merit basis, the other way is that you can appear in the entrance examination of JNU and depending on your rank in the examination you will be awarded scholarship. Moreover, every year the topper of the batch is awarded a prize money of Rs. 5,000.

Campus Life

4

Life at JNU was quite awesome, apart from classes there were many more things to do for a student. Sometimes we bunk our classes and spent some quality time in canteen or basketball court. During free lectures we were always allowed to go out and do anything we want let it be playing games or sitting in the lab surfing the web. Moreover, the complete campus was Wifi enabled. There were regular competitions in different fields like robotics, cultural, gaming, etc. Our college is also a member of Spic Macay community which promotes cultural and intellectual events in institutions throughout the globe.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel life was quite awesome in JNU. I myself had spend my first year in hostel only. The only thing that I didn't liked in my hostel was the food. I actually am a quite foodie and I have always looked for taste over price. So, that could be a reason I was not much satisfied with the hostel food but again being in hostel was way too fun. Late night gatherings, naughty pranks with our hostel mates and sometimes with the warden himself ;) All that fun part was way too much to cover just one drawback of my hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, all the seniors were very helpful at JNU. During my initial days at college I was so concerned about ragging but my seniors made me very comfortable with themselves. Just a formal introduction and we were all good to go. Moreover, there were proper measures taken to stop ragging and make students comfortable. All the seniors of my course were always helpful in providing any help needed let it be notes, files or anything. We also received a heart warming Fresher's party from our seniors.

Exam Structure

There was a proper process of examinations which includes a Unit test after the end of every unit, two mid sem examinations after the end of 2 and 5 units respectively. And in the end the semester examination. Labs were frequent as practical knowledge is compulsory when you are dealing with technology. Everyday we have at least two labs.

Admission

I filled out a form that is available online on the university website, or one can also visit the college directly for the same. Then you will be called for the counselling session so that you can have a clear view of your further studies. After the counselling one just need to fill up some forms and pay the fees and he/she is good to go on the journey of graduating from JNU.

Faculty

3.5

I must say the faculty of my college was one of the main reason why I was regular to my college. Every faculty was very responsible for their subject and always try their best to make us understand the things thoroughly. I would love to take names of few professors but I think that will be injustice to all other lovely faculty members.
