Remarks

I didn't go here through any quota or eamcet counseling. But many who have ranked less than 60000 in EAMCET also got to counseling. After you choose options in EAMCET counseling. They give you a date within a week or so to attend college and confirm your seat. And management quota only needs to pass 12th. I have applied for shreyas and also got CSE. But I didn't apply to shreyas college. Because there are mere opportunities than CMRIT. Here cmrit is renowned for its mechanical branch. And mainly as the motto says think placements think cmr, the placement ratio here is very high that outgoing batch of 2020 of 84% got placed from all the college. And when it comes to the age eligibility criteria, there is basically no age limit but you have to pass 12th to join this college. I haven't availed any quota, but as far I know, the details are as common according to EAMCET. For BC candidates 35% of tuition fee scholarship given by the government, for sc/st students have to pay 10000 as tuition fee

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As being an Autonomous institute, the course curriculum mainly focusing on the lab. Like you have 4subjects to 5 labs each semester. And lab equipment-wise. You have all the needed equipment arranged in a systematic way. The reason I choose this course is it consists of core mechanical subjects which focus on a raw mechanical engineering course. Linke mainly focusing on mechanics and thermodynamics. This is the best you can get in subjects. And as a perk due to autonomous status, you also have customized subjects that are more important and also revised every two years according to the trend going on. So your graduation will have the latest knowledge. And when coming to teaching experiences almost all the teachers are either p.hd or m.tech graduates. And at least having 10years of official experience as a professor. The mentorship program here is the key to success. By maintaining one teacher for every 15 students. All classes have a projector, a computer with a touch screen. Which is a boon to teach well

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are mainly three projects, which are 2 minor and one major. But having autonomous you have mini projects for each lab subjects and innovative lab in first two years which greatly focus on innovation. You'll have handso experience by this projects itself

Placement Experience

4

Placements here are pretty well like almost every person who aims for placement will get on campus. As I mentioned previously highest lpa of my notice is 26.5 LPA from Amazon. As being in a college that confirms your placement, I decided to stick with that placement a few years and the. Pursue higher education afterward for better opportunities. Alumni here are a great sons of them also work in Intuit, Google, Nvidia, intel etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

All the government-provided scholarships are provided here. And they have a very flexible fee structure. The highest package which was on campus given was 26.5LPA. For the year 2021 and the placements are still ongoing.

Campus Life

4

There are many clubs which are internal clubs and internationally renowned clubs. Clubs like IEEE, ICMMSE, ICDSMLA are held. And local clubs like NSS is a very active club, as cmrit have a good name in ts NSS cell. Other clubs like cultural clubs, programming, robotics run every weekend.

Hostel Facilities

4

The college itself provides a hostel, but most of the students don't prefer it as it is quite not affordable for its presence. I myself preferred to live in gandi maisamma and you would have auto only on college time to college directly from the gandimaisamma. No buses run in this route. So transport is like 6. But the area itself is pretty accessible and affordable. Good accommodation is found which have a good culture of living rather all crowdy places full of students like kompally or medchal. There are a few hostels near the college as well. They are ok for sure.but only of you don't want to travel a lot as it is totally disconnected from the rest of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
