Remarks

As the admission took place in the rise of covid 19, the process was online and a Skype interview held with the concerned faculties and interviewer. The interview was 20 minutes long and all they talked about was to know my communication and sensible knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite smooth and crisp. The pace of curriculum is quite rapid as the college runs quicker than other institutes in B schools. To ready the managers earlier to get opportunities in the market. The faculties are well qualified and experienced with a good sense of teaching.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come to recruit interns from the college including JPMC, Reliance Jio, Aditya Birla etc. The students are required to complete a 3-months internship with exposure to the corporate sector and learnings of business throughout the sector.

Placement Experience

The placements of IBS Mumbai are quite good as always, proficient placements in the marketing domain are the strength of the college. Apart from this, 100% placement is the motto of college with quality deals in placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee of IBS Mumbai is 8 lacs for the 2 years program, which is divided into semester instalments. The scholarship is given to the students scoring above 8.5 cgpa. The ROI here is quite good as compared to many good private institutes.

Campus Life

The campus life is quite good as the locality of Mumbai besides well established Hiranandani park, gives a professional environment for the students. The college has a library consisting of top magazines and books to read. The annual fest is also conducted every year with many tech fests apart from the annual fest.

Interview Experience

Yes, for the written test, there are either IBSAT or CAT, NMAT scores. Then after that, a GD round followed by a personal interview. For the written test, aptitude, reasoning and comprehension is the main focus. For GD rounds, the knowledge of current affairs and communication skills are the main focus and for PI, the domain knowledge is the main focus.

Nice College

Likes

Faculty was good and really supportive in terms of teaching methods

Infrastructure is too less compared to other symbiosis campuses.

Third Semester onwards students can be involved in Campus Placements,Morgan stanely offered the highest PAckage Around 20 Lakhs but the average package is around 5 Lakhs per Annum. Profile Offered are Sales Executive, BA, DA

Range of external/visiting faculty have vast industry experience and help in placements

Dislikes

Campus is too small, although we are getting new stuff like a in house TT table

Placement Experience:

College placements are decent, I managed to get placed in the 3rd semester it self we have a batch size of aroung 80 for the PG and we process about 50-70 companies in the 3rd and 4th sem combined. I am the student placement head also here which is selected on merit by the senior batch students.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Campus - serene and lush green 60 acre campus which lies in the heart of the Pune city.

Placement Experience:

Summer internship starts in September itself and students can convert it into PPO, this is an unique opportunity and summer placements start in the start of the second year itself. Average package for 22-24 batch is 14.32 and highest is 27 lpa.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

The admission process goes like Application for IBSAT or CAT, CMAT.
