Remarks

I have not applied for any other college apart from IBS, so after the IBSAT exam, the offer letter for the next step was alloted mentioning the date and venue for the GD/PI round and further procedure. The GD/PI round was held in Hyderabad Campus, in February. One assistant was also connected to me via WhatsApp for the briefing sessions and as a helping guide throughout the admission process. Based on the score of GD/PI, the campus was allotted to all. The arrangements and management by the college for the students were really good and appreciable.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I personally chose this course because I wanted to get into the corporate world to utilize my financial skills and enrich my knowledge. The faculties are also good and the way they explain the concepts is also nice. In total there are four semesters, where one semester includes one midterm exam and one end semester exam. And also there is continuous internal evaluation held by the college.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are many companies offering internships for various domains like finance, marketing, HR, operations etc. some are paid internships and some are without pay. And during the internship, one might get a chance to work on a live project which helps in getting a clearer view. One Blackbook is needed to be maintained which consists of the aim, objective, methodology, learnings and outcomes, conclusion, recommendation and extra work undertaken about the project. And one presentation is also needed to be prepared and is to be presented at the end of the internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is a placement team in the college which is run by professors and the students which help in connecting with companies and also there are tie ups of some companies which comes on the campus every year and selects the students as per their need. College tries to give 100% placements to the students. Currently, this year 96% of seniors are placed. To get into a good and reputed company, one must maintain a CGPA of 8 and above.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of the college is 400000 per year. Since due to the pandemic the feel of pursuing PGPM is missing. Have not got the job yet as the placement process has not started yet. The scholarship is available but it has criteria of scoring a certain CGPA in the semester and accordingly the scholarship will be provided.

Campus Life

3

Since due to the pandemic I did not get a chance to get the classroom feel and to enjoy the campus life. But I would say the college took the best efforts to give the same experience via zoom platform, everything was running as it would have happened at the campus. Books were couriered via blue dart for all the semesters. Access to the e-library is given. There are several clubs in college which are functioning very smoothly. There are domain as well as entertainment clubs. Domain clubs give the hands-on sessions on different topics whereas entertainment club helps to relax from the busy schedule.

Interview Experience

4.5

A list was provided with GD topics and famous questions asked in the interview and practise rounds were also taken for GD. The test pattern was the usual consisting of the questions on quants, reasoning(verbal and non-verbal), and English (comprehension and grammar). And the exam did not have the scale of negative marking. One mock test was also taken by IBS to get a gyst of the main exam so that we should not face any kind of difficulty during the exam regarding time management and the type of questions.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
