Remarks

The admission for this college started with appearing for the college entrance test. Other national level tests like CAT, SAT,GMAT were accepted as well. After this,a merit list was out and then it was followed by counselling, and personal interview as well. For the admissions, I had to submit my 10+2 results including my graduation marksheets, along with my ID proof and passport size photographs as well. I paid INR 2000 for the application fee. Out of all the colleges i chose to study here because, B schools are very expensive and I come from a middle class family so I thought this college was best suited for me because at the end of the day, a MBA degree was all that mattered to me.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course consisted of subjects like finance and accounting, economics, data analytics including other important topics like strategy planning and Entrepreneurship as well. The MBA Syllabus focuses on inculcating managerial and entrepreneurial skills and it is divided into 4 semesters, with each semester focusing on a particular aspect. We also have Project Work, Seminars, Research Work, Report Writing, Industry Training, and also viva, class presentations and also weekly tests. This helped us to do well in our internals and then finally the internals helped us to score well in our university exams as credit scores were added in our external examination.

Placement Experience

3.5

I wouldn't say our campus has the best placement rate and it isn't that bad either. The placement cell tries its best to provide us with placements and connects us with the recruiters. The average pay starts from 3.5 lakhs p.a and reaches up to 10 lakhs p.a . Some of the frequent visiting companies include Wipro, HCL, Apollo, ICICI, Axis bank and HDFC as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I paid a total amount of 160000 INR for two years. We had a total of 4 semesters. The tuition fees was around 15,000 INR and around 80,000 as other fees which included campus fees and fees of other facilities provided by the college. We did not have any campus jobs available but we do have scholarships which is based on merit and financial assistance based for need based students.

Campus Life

3.5

Our campus consists of basketball courts, football field and it also has indoor sports facilities available as well. The college also has a central library for assistance and further reference and research works. We also have seminar rooms and auditorium halls for various events. Our college has a strict anti ragging policy as well.

Admission:

Once I applied to TU with my MAT score I was asked to come to the university for the GD and PI round. My GD round went for 15 minutes and we were given the topic about GST. In my PI round questions were asked about all my background activities besides academics, my reasons for choosing this course etc. Various mock interviews online helped me a lot while preparing for this round.

Remarks:

The MBA admissions are merit based. The basic eligibility was graduation with 50% marks and a CAT score. TU also conducted an interview and a counselling session once I was shortlisted. TU is a central university under the government, so they offer quality education for very less fees. This was the major reason for joining TU.
