Remarks

The college name is ibs Mumbai, no quota in this college, the admission process was quite easy and the faculties were friendly and encouraging. IBS Mumbai admission process its flagship is pgpm program is valid on a valid score in one among ibs./ cat followed by gd and pi.

Course Curriculum Overview

PGPM is a course which has variety nowadays and that's one of the main reasons why I chose IBS. Excellent faculties make students' journeys easier and one step nearer to success. They are like your parents who guide you every now and then and especially during the placement season. Exams are easy for you if you know what you've been taught.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are public sector banks as well as private sector banks which help you with loan assistance. Many students at IBS have applied for loan facilities and the process is smooth. Scholarships are for those students who score above 75% in academics.

Campus Life

Many social clubs are there like Marketing 360, Markophilia, Kautilya(Finance) to personality development clubs like Tarkash, E tarkash, etc which are the gaming clubs, also we have fitness clubs, music club etc. There is a big library which has every journal/newspaper/novel/textbooks available.

Interview Experience

After you clear your initial step of the exam you're then allowed to sit for the GD and the PI at IBS, Hyderabad. Topics of GD were based on general happenings or knowledge. You can go through the newspaper daily and read the recent happenings. There's one solution and that's reading. You should be well versed with everything going around the industry.

Nice College

Likes

Faculty was good and really supportive in terms of teaching methods

Dislikes

Infrastructure is too less compared to other symbiosis campuses.

Placement Experience:

Third Semester onwards students can be involved in Campus Placements,Morgan stanely offered the highest PAckage Around 20 Lakhs but the average package is around 5 Lakhs per Annum. Profile Offered are Sales Executive, BA, DA

Likes

From sem 2 you can select a specialisation like BFM, DA etc
Range of external/visiting faculty have vast industry experience and help in placements

Dislikes

Campus is too small, although we are getting new stuff like a in house TT table

Placement Experience:

College placements are decent, I managed to get placed in the 3rd semester it self we have a batch size of aroung 80 for the PG and we process about 50-70 companies in the 3rd and 4th sem combined. I am the student placement head also here which is selected on merit by the senior batch students.

Placement Experience:

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

Placement Experience:

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Campus - serene and lush green 60 acre campus which lies in the heart of the Pune city.

Placement Experience:

Summer internship starts in September itself and students can convert it into PPO, this is an unique opportunity and summer placements start in the start of the second year itself. Average package for 22-24 batch is 14.32 and highest is 27 lpa.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

IBS : A destination for your Dreams

The admission process goes like Application for IBSAT or CAT, CMAT. They call the shortlisted candidates for the GD and PI round in Hyderabad The students need to give preferences of their choices among the 9 campuses in-country. I applied for ibs mumbai because of it's location, teaching and faculty. It was according to my requirements. There were sessions for GD, PI and other guidance. There was GD round after that PI was taken , I gave ibsat and got total of 92% as a result of all the process.
