The KIET Outlook.

I didn't apply for any other college as I had always dreamed of studying in KIET groups of Institutions as it is considered to be the best college in Uttar Pradesh for Engineering. The admission process was either based on the qualification of the exam called AKTU, the score of AKTU is considered, and also the percentage acquired in class 12th. The minimum percentage required was 45% for the general category. I did'nt avail any quota for the admission . My admission was based on the percentage i acquired in my class 12th. I registered myself online on the portal of KIET and got selected as I scored decent marks in class 12th. After which we were called for the counseling day in which the process of submission of documents like mark sheets and transfer certificate was to be submitted and then with the fees submission the process was over.

I always wanted to be an Engineer, which is why I opted for science in my 12 class. I choose this course as it fulfilled the requirements that I have been looking for. The staff and the faculty members are tremendous. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. Talking about the student-faculty ratio so around 6 teachers are teaching their own specialized subject to the class of 69-70 children. The teaching method used by the teachers is very different and appreciable, they are ever-present for the queries of students and they are highly devoted and helpful by giving us assignments and practice sheets, and projects for the better preparations of exams. The exams are held semester-wise, which means twice a year, and with this helpful faculty and with the hard work the exams could be passed with decent works.

I would say KIET provides the best internship opportunities among other engineering colleges I have heard of. As engineering students, we need to have a running practice, as the course of engineering is highly demanding and requires hard work and practice continuously. Thereby I must appreciate the initiatives takes by our college to conduct various coding programs by Flipkart, Amazon, and even Myntra which teaches us the interiors of their software design and also the workshops provided by them on regular basis are tremendous and highly educating which keeps us in contact with the working environment of the actual company and helps us enhancing aur experience as an intern.

The college guarantees the 100% placement of its students in the first place . The students appearing in 3rd year of the college i.e., 6 th semester , are eligible for the campus recuitment process . Every student is given a chance for appearance in the counselling cum placement opportunity provided by the college for the better future of the students . The companies visiting to the campus also runs an exellent counselling programme which helps students to have a clear vision of their future journey. The companies such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra are the companies which provides their free learning coding programme of the B.TECH students and the companies like Accenture, Bajaj, TCS etc. reputed comapnies makes offer of above 2000 placements with decent salary packages such as the maximum package offered recently was INR 19 lac per annum. My plan after graduating will be to have a decent job through the campus.

The fees structure of KIET can be said to be affordable and reasonable as compared to the other engineering colleges fees. According to the placements the college gaurantees , the fees is worth paying for. As of on yearly basis it costs 143000 / INR , which makes it around 550000 / INR for the whole course. There is no major hike fees policy in certain in KIET. There certainly exists scholarships opportunities for the students as a motivation and an opportunity to perform their best. The scholarship is entirely merit basis and the high achievers , who scores the best in the exams and avail the highest percentage , those students can avail the benefits of the scholarship . The institute provides 7% of the students from high achiever category for the availing of the scholarship. The scholarship provide upto 85% of rebate in the tuition fee. The placement of the college is also appreciable and 100% placement is guaranteed.

The life at the campus is pretty amazing and exciting. It becomes all the more exciting because of the fabulous infrastructure and the equally good crowd. The maintenance and cleanliness of the big campus are really handled very well, the credit goes to the authority and the workers appointed for this job. They are very hardworking and ever-present which makes the campus all the more beautiful and hygenic. The big library is full of important books and journals for all the courses, we all enjoy the latest journals on technology and the morning newspapers in the library over the morning chit-chat. The fests held in the college are worth experiencing, they are highly educating and provides the vast basis for learning and enhancing skills. The fests and internships opportunities recently provided were by amazon. The campus also encourages various sports tournaments and activities as the extra curriculum is also important. For the betterment of students, social clubs are also formed.
