Remarks

For IBS, you need CAT, NMAT or IBSAT scores. I qualified through IBSAT and NMAT. The minimum score to qualify in NMAT for IBS is 150. After got a call letter for an interview, I went to Hyderabad for selection process, where they conduct GD and PI. My slot was morning 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. After a week I got a mail of conversion in IBS. At first, I was alloted to Pune Campus but as my preference was Mumbai Campus, I sent a form for campus shift, they changed my campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is divided into 4 semesters. First-year have 2 semesters which is of General Program. Then after the first year, the college provides a Students Internship Program for 3 months, where we have to work in the real corporate world for corporate experience. In the second year, we have 3rd and 4th semesters of specialised programs as per the choice of students, i.e. Finance, Marketing, IT, Operations and HR. Besides the curriculum, the facilities are majorly PhD holders and have a corporate experience of more than 10 years. So, faculties are really good and very cooperative. Yes, the atmosphere is IBS is very hectic.

Internships Opportunities

5

100% internship is provided by the institute and the companies are ranges from top MNC's to new startup company also. But the companies are genuine. You cannot expect fraudery from IBS. My internship experience was very good. I got an opportunity in the Real Estate sector. The company name is Xanadu Realty Pvt. Ltd. I learnt many kinds of stuff such as corporate culture, how the real estate sector works and what are the terminologies in real estate. I was in the Pre-sales department. My role was to handle CRM. Also, the company provided us stipend also.

Placement Experience

4.5

One of the best institutes in the aspect of placements. 1100 students enter the campus every year. And the placement cell manages to give more than 96% placements. From the 2nd year, the only college starts their placement process, apart from that college grooms very well their students before placement. From last year performance, the highest package was 50 lakhs Ctc and the average package goes around 6.5 lakhs. My plan is to get into a reputed firm in the Finance sector, which will definitely be proved by the college itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is a total of 8.01 lakhs, we have to pay per semester instalment wise. 1,44,000/- per semester. A merit scholarship is available if your cgpa is above 7.5 you will get a merit scholarship of some amount min 2200 and max 50,000. Still, I am studying, I haven't yet gone for placement round, but according to the last year performance IBS Mumbai had converted more than 96% placement record. This year 9 students had got PPO from JPMC and CTC is 9.5 lakhs.

Campus Life

5

There are 30+ clubs are there in IBS Mumbai, who conduct many events, webinars and extracurricular activities. The atmosphere of the college is very engaging. Though I haven't gone to physical college so, I cant tell you the physical college atmosphere. But, from the virtual point of view, if it can be so engaging and energetic, you can imagine how it will be physically.

Interview Experience

4.5

Yes, IBS had a very systematic selection process, aspirants have to go through Aptitude, Group discussions and Personal Interview rounds. After then only you could get a selection, but it's not so tough to convert IBS. But it is a bit tough to clear the cutoff for the best campus of IBS. The best campuses for IBS is Hyderabad, Mumbai and Gurgaon. So, make sure you could get out of these 3.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
