Harsh Kant Tiwari's Review On REVA University, Bangalore

I gave COMEDK and my rank was about close to 16 k. The reason i chose this college because some of my friends told me that its one of the good colleges in that rank and also its growing very fast in terms education as well as infrastructure.

The course structure is good. One can easily choose or focus on one particular language or subject on which he or she wants to proceed further. The electives are pretty easy like Java ,management ,software testing etc. These electives are generally offered in 3rd or 4th year of engineering .

Our college does provide internship although i have never asked for the internship from the college but i some of seniors have done and their experience about it is very good. The companies in which they did their internship is IBM ,Capgemini and many more.

The placement of this college is very good. Every year around 60-75%students get placed in the companies.The companies which visits are TCS, IBM, Capgemini, Amazon, Dell, HP, HPE, Cognizant, Mphasis.

There are many technical as well as cultural activities take place either by the college or by various departments but the best one is the annual fest that happens in March April "REVAMP" Its a 3 day fest which includes technical cultural as well as various famous bands and singers performing live in the campus.

The fee structure is feasible .The college and tuition fees comes to around 1.5 lakh annually and if one is living in the hostel another 80 k annually including food. The fee structure remains the same but the hostel fees can change according to the college management.

The campus life is very very good. The gender ratio is 55-45. Majority are the boys and then the girls. There are no such incidents of racial abuse or any related to religion. College does host many workshops in which one can participate either free or have to pay a minor fees. The diversity of the college is very calm and one can really enjoy the days that they live there.

The hostel rooms are very good but its overpriced.They provide you with beds personal cupboards study table and chair.There are 3 categories of rooms.One is single sharing another is 3 sharing and the last is 4 sharing rooms.

The Exams are pretty well scheduled so students does not have a tough day but sometimes due to lack of time or activities they are forced to schedule a hectic routine. Lab exams are held almost at the end of the semester to ease the burden of frequent Internal assessment that happens every month.

As i said i sat for COMEDK and i got this college in the 2nd round of counselling process. The form was out in the month of December and after filling the form i had to sent it Bangalore at their office. All the details was mentioned in the form notification and process.

The faculties of this college is pretty good with sound knowledge of their subjects and are always keen of teaching new things for the understanding and improving the knowledge of the students. They never hesitate to clear the doubts of the students irrespective of time.
