I had given IMUCET(all india exam),i had scored 898(all india general rank), I choosed this college because i had a very keen interest in merchant navy,and this college is the headquarter of indian maritime university.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is pretty much good. I think btech marine engineering is not a game. Its a very tough course as we study all engineering such as civil(naval architecture),electrical engg, mechanical, fluid dynamics, computer engineering , maths, Tele communication engineering etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its a govt marine college. Fee structure is 1.25 lakhs per year though its expensive yet its the least one in india. Private college 3.25 lakhs per year Its feasible for us as loan is also given and scholarship is also arranged by college. So i think college with this course should take this much fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
College gives scholarship of 1 lakh to the batch topper and 75000 to30 percentile, and next 30 will be given 50000 from this year. For loan tgey help us giving a college letter which help us in banks to get loans fast.
Exam Structure
Exams are quite strict here.labs are in fine condition, workshop is good. There are many labs such as electrical lab, mechanical lab ,electronics lab,computer lab, workshop where we do general duties,we have fluid mechanics lab,exam is properly done here with strict invigilating.

Placement Experience
For Computers science students, IT students 100% placement guarantee they give and AVG package is about 8-9 lakhs per annum for entc , mechanical, civil students average package is about 5-7 Lakhs per annum TCS, Google, Microsoft, Mahindra, L&T such companies become every year for placement s and internships I will do MBA after college.

Placements are very good at our Clg. I am still 2 nd year so I don’t more about the company. but highly taken in our course
Remarks
The college management is too good. They let students to not only learn subjects but also help a student to develop his or her skills in other areas too like organising, social interaction, problem handling etc
Admission
Admissions are granted on the basis of TNEA entrance exam scores. Students clearing the cut-off for the engineering program are then invited for the counseling process arranged by the TANCA. Students are thus granted a seat on a merit basis.

Some of the top brands like cognizant, Genpact, HDFC, IDBI, would frequently visit to our college in order to recruit students for different profiles. The packages offered are pretty decent as well. Our average salary is around 2 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview
Not that much in basic practical, On the main practical, they are there best, According to college my practical work is good and, my main engine room practical is also good and we have an engine room live a ship, we have done all practical in good faculty guidance.
Entrance Preview
First, I gave the entrance exam SRMJEE. And the matter of fact is they don't give marks. They only provide with Ranks for respective students, which they can see by entering their details into the result portal of SRM. I secured 30 K rank in the exam. And I opted for CSE in the Ramapuram branch. I always wanted to study about computer and I was kind of stubborn to study about computers, thus I opted for CSE.
Admission
The SRMJEE Application came on last week of December in 2015. As I've some friends studying there, I knew that SRM is a decent institute. I filled the form online and the further details were given as soon the form was submitted. After giving the entrance exam and after the result. They gave respective ranks to students and accordingly students went to the SRM Chennai for counselling.
Remarks
Good in conducting events, cultural and teaching bad in management and lab facility.
