Remarks

If anyone just interested for studies studies and only study here is the place. I wished our college organized few good fests. Because we get college life once we study here but these things are the one which we will carry throughout our life.

Entrance Preview

I got admission in this college under management quota,I opted this college because of its discipline, placement and reputation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

SJCIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University(Vtu). Which is indeed one of the best University of India. So SJCIT follows all the rules, syllabus everything of vtu only,it is really very well setup, the examination pattern everything is awesome.

Internships Opportunities

No here no facilities are provided for internships. Placement is really good though. Very good companies come during the placements and the starting salary is also pretty good.

Placement Experience

3

The placements are good here many renowned companies come here and take students and provide good Starting salaries too. Amount of students taken by them is also good. All students get very good chance to grab a job within the campus only. This is one of the main reasons for opting of this college.

College Events

2.5

There are not many events celebrated in our college basically its only study study and study. Besides students organised few small fests which are good but not that awesome i think college itself should organised these events because college life is not only about studies but also these activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very less for local students and the students who come and take admission under state CET. But for the students who are coming from outside state its expensive and moreover there are brokers available who bring students for admission and take undue fees from students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are provided to the deserved onces for loan facilities they provide all the necessary papers and help students for these matters.

Campus Life

3.5

They are just like "chalega types" when compared to other colleges in bangalore, our college is way behind in these things. I am talking about the extracurricular activities. Gender ratio is really good,I feel there are more no. Of girls than boys here sports activities is good.

Hostel Facilities

2

Horrible one word for the test of the food i think the amount of money they take from the hostilities the quality of the food should be much much better. Even after so many complain they do not provide good food They are like its just a work for providing food and they do it anyway.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are really friendly they help us with all the things studies, guidance everything they are like our guardians here because most of us has come from far places and they keep us and be with us like our family only.

Exam Structure

They just keep us busy in these things sometimes it really gets hectic, we get really frustrated. According to vtu there must be 3 internal exams and 1 external exam in one semester. I think this is more than enough but still our college take its own tests which are kind of headache.

Admission

There was a education fair held in my state(Bihar) I went there and got to know about this college there only. Then I talked to the representative there it was nice meeting with him, searched Google about the college everything was good and then I came to see the college myself got satisfied and took admission here.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties of the college are very hard working. They do everything for students, the teaching style everything is good. Sometimes the language problem occurs like they Start to talk in kannada language and we being no kannadas don't get it and feel isolated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
