Entrance Preview

I mainly took the jee mains and viteee, and after the results came I preferred vit because it's ranked 1 by MHRD and it come just below the IITs.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provides internships, but it is only provided if we finish our 180 credits. So we need to take up as many credits and finish them with good grades then we would be sent for an internship at the end of the year that is the final year.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities here itself are a record as it stands at the top for placements. our college has a lot of international exposure and is well renowned for these attributes. this year the highest package allotted was about 30 lakhs per annum.

College Events

Not each and every event is celebrated in our college only a few and important ones are celebrated. We get no time for these celebrations are we are very busy with our studies and get indulged in it. But the cultural event that is held is done very nicely by the clubs and chapters of our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, a loan facility is offered by the college only to a few percent of top rankers of viteee and those candidates whose fasters income is below 1 lakh only.

All of the faculties are really great. Most of them are ph.d holders and many of them are still doing their Ph.D, some of them are also iitians. So yes they are all well qualified and have the capability to make us understand our topics and subjects.so I would say yes the faculties in vit are really good.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
