After my 12th, my dad got transferred to Karnataka. One day I was looking for colleges in Karnataka to pursue BCA and read about Presidency College, it is ranked 15 for BCA by India Today. After going through it's prospectus and curriculum online. Without wasting time I filled an application form and submitted 12th marksheet in which I scored 72%. After submitting the documents, I was called for the personal interview.

The pedagogy of BCA includes direct teaching, ICT & digital support, flipped classroom, experiential learning, collaborative learning, etc. While pursuing this course, I was encouraged to read case studies, participate in group discussions, make presentations, do content analysis and more, to enhance my skills. The teachers are very much helpful for all the students who are eager to learn the new things. They are qualified enough to deliver the classes and they do deliver the knowledgeable things for the betterment of their students.

It also offers certificate or training programmes in collaboration with several universities or associations. Some of the collaborated associations include the University of the Fraser Valley (Canada), La Trobe University (Australia), Association of Charted Certified Accountants (ACCA) Programme, Oracle University, TIME, University of Fraser Valley, La Trobe University, Cambridge English and more. I gained practical knowledge and made new contacts while doing my internship.

The College offers an extensive Employability Enhancement Programme (EEP) to upgrade skills of students and help them get good jobs. The main components of EEP are Soft Skills Training, Certification Programmes and Placement Preparation.The Training and Placement Team of the College is responsible for conducting placement drives. Inmy batch 2018, the College had a placement record of 100%. I got a job in a renowned MNC with a package of 800000 LPA.

For the first year I paid approximately 120000. My course was of 3 years, so total fess that I paid was around 360000. The room rent in the hostel costed me around 40000 yearly. Yes, they provide scholarship but I couldn't get it.

The campus offered me an opportunity to discover and develop my hidden talents through an array of student clubs. The College has seven different clubs, including Rotaract Club, NSS Club, Morpheus Management Club, Udaan HR Club, Troopers India and more. It includes well-equipped facilities, such as well-stocked library, state-of-the-art laboratories, auditorium, smart classrooms, hostel facilities and recreational amenities.

The infrastructure of the presidency college is beautiful and attractive. The hostel was very well organised and was also equipped with the best of facilities. My room was very spacious and had an attached bathroom also. The hostel mess also provided quality food that kept me healthy away from home.

I gave personal interview to clear my admission. I was very confident as I read all the current affairs and was well- prepared for it. The interview went smooth and was asked a current affairs question that I was luckily aware-off.
