Remarks
Banaras University, reknown among the students as BHU is the the best in Uttar Pradesh due to this only I chose it. BHU is among best 30 institutes to do MBA from while in overall rankings NIRF has placed it on 10th position in 2020. The university not only matches top standards but also give corporate touch to students skillset. The seats in MCA programme at BHU are given after the counselling procedure only.
Course Curriculum Overview
As we know MCA is a full time PG course thus the learning experience at BHU pursuing it was just irreplaceable. I don't think faculty of any college/university gives such guidance and support to its students. I really feel blessed to learn from such teachers who themselve are highly established professionals in their fields
Internships Opportunities
Any confusion regarding corporate world gets easily clarified through the things one learn during the internship work period. I was equally happy getting that like others but the offer I grabbed had one the best stipends all across the batch.
Placement Experience
The good thing about our university is that each & every programme here receives equally good packages or job roles. The most packages during campus drive were given by Wipro, Tata, HDFC, Accenture and HCL while the top salary package was INR 16.4 LPA. The records could have been far better but the thing that affected them was Covid pandemic situation
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee charged by our university is quite mediocre, it is lower than many Institutes but is also higher than some. Still, I was okay with the MCA programme fee of INR 3.6 Lacs as it fitted well into my budget. The assitances are available for those only who are eligible as per the rules
Campus Life
As per my opinion, for a student who is into Learning only the most important parts of campus life is the library and computer lab only. But the university alot more along with them. Annually numerous activities are organised in which participation of students is worth watching. There are different clubs of all sort of things like Arts activities, cultural events and academic competitions.
Hostel Facilities
Charges for accommodation facilities are almost negligible because they are one of the lowest in the field. I got an altogether great experience which is still fresh in my memory. The rooms were grand, the mess was clean and it was really great to live my MCA days in the hostels of our university.
Admission
MCA course is quite famous in our university and the major step of selections is the counselling. The factors noted during the round conspires of BHU PET score and past academic performances of the students who have applied.
