To get admission into Chitkara University you need to have 60% in your PCM if your score is 59.8% you may not get admission I had scored more than 60 so I got I. There without any much issue. I had also applied in Chandigarh, lpu, Galgotias,gl bajaj but in the end, I thought for me Chitkara is the best. I didn't avail any qouta for admission
Course Curriculum Overview
Ever since I was a kid, I liked coding and playing games on the computer so I knew that Computer Science was the course which i had to pursue in my life.The faculty in the college is at par and they are knowledgable in their respective fields however it is really tough to get our doubts cleared. The faculty-student ratio is 1:60 which is a little too much for the students. Exams are held twice a year and they need good understanding of the subject to pass
Fees and Financial Aid
According to my knowledge, the college is increasing the fees year after year. Some students might find the fees too high and won't be able to attend the college. However, there are scholorships that are available in the college based on merit and financial needs which I feel is very good
Campus Life
"Algorythm", the annual fest was organized by the college in which 5000 students from over 50 colleges particpated and it was a very fun event for us. But due the pandemic, no such event has been organised in the past year. Libraries are spacious but lack the variety of books that are needed. Classrooms are big and clean and provide a great learning enviornment for the students. Sports is promoted at all levels and cricket , football and badminton can be played in respective fields and courts
