Remarks
My experience has been great so far. Academic counseling is a very long and stressful process and you need personal attention to help you throughout your application process. and especially Sneha Ma’am, has taken care of every aspect of my applications with great care and attention. Sneha Ma’am was available at any given point of time when I needed her assistance. I'd highly recommend credit and especially the guidance of Sneha Ma’am for your Master's preparation and counseling. She has great knowledge about the entire procedure. Thank you, Team and thanks a lot Sneha Ma’am.
Course Curriculum Overview
That depends entirely on the course and on the faculty! For example, if you only have one person who studies mathematical logic, they should teach the upper-division mathematical logic course. There can also be courses that people prefer to teach - I like to teach “Contemporary Mathematics” because it is topical and applied, and the students who take it often have their whole view of what math is and who can do it changed (he-he-he, I love the part when they suddenly realize that they’ve been having fun doing math). I have a colleague at my smaller college who always teaches almost all of the stats - she enjoys stats, the rest of the math faculty doesn’t. In larger departments or with a less congenial faculty, there is usually a department chair or the head of a committee. They sit down and wrangle out a schedule that feels equitable, then the faculty complain and things get shifted, and the “junior” faculty end up teaching the “bad” classes and it can get quite political and nasty!
Fees and Financial Aid
One is fee remission for income below 5lac Second is merit scholarship for top 60 students in first year i.e. your total tution fee Third,if you are under 2k in jee mains then u’ll also get one scholarshipThis is used to determine eligibility for federal and state financial aid. There is a portion for you and your parents. The lower your Expected Family Contribution, the more you are eligible for. That doesn’t mean you will get all you need. And depending on where you apply and how much money your family makes, you can get tuition waived. Many Ivy Leagues have guaranteed free tuition if a family income is less than $100,000 annually. You still have to get accepted and you still have to pay for housing, etc. But that is where other financial aid comes in.
Campus Life
SPM believes that creating a serene environment blended with modern technologies heightens the spirit and energy around all learners and inspires them to optimize their learning efforts. In this direction SPM provides the intellectual ambience in a stimulating campus. As you will notice, most of the answers here mention time management. It is an essential skill not just for your college life but even for your future jobs. One thing has taught me is discipline. No one here will tell you when to do what. You will be given deadlines and will have to schedule your time according to those (if you want to submit on time). .
