Course Curriculum Overview
I choose mechanical engineering as it was my passion and I always had a mechanical engineering touch from my childhood. Facilities in VIT is the best available for anyone to improve any kind of skills. Faculties provides the best guidances and they are among the best ones available for a student to strive. There were continuous internal assessments prior to the final exam. Almost all subjects were practical minded and had projects included in them. Placement Experience
Placements starts from late 6th sem and continues till end of 8th semester. Almost all of the students gets placed. Mass recruiters takes people for low salaries and also there are companies that comes with package of around 40 lakhs per year
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure varies according to marks and we got fee education for people scoring the highest in their syllabus be it state cbse oru isc. Along with that there were scholarships available for students having good rank in vit entrance examination also known as VITEEE. There is around 5 category of fees and then there is nri category category 1 is available for the ones with the best marks and as each category seats gets filled next category gets opened
Campus Life
One of the best campus among private institutions in India is seen in vit. They got a lot of facilities to explore and it gives the best experience for a student. There are all sorts of extra curricular activities, be it sports arts games or whatever is required is available. Library is so huge and contains a lot of facilities including digital library. One can roam around in free time inside the campus itself as it has a lot of space in it. Every facilities are available inside the campus so that one need not move out for anything.
Hostel Facilities
There is 1 bed accomodation, 2 3 4 and 6 bed is also available which has AC as well as non AC rooms. And for food we got south indian and north indian veg and non veg mess as well as a special mess. They provide good quality food too. We also have quite a few canteens and food courts available apart from the mess. Apart from hostels we have apartments or rooms available for rent outside the college campus were good facilities are also provided with reasonable prices.
Admission
Initially there is an entrance examination held after our grade 12 and depending on its marks ranks will be allotted and in that basis we will be called for admission counselling. During the counselling they will give us a basic idea of the university and its basic rules and features. We will be asked to select the required course after that.
