Remarks

A reputed government institution.Comes in top 5 among the state.Has high education facilities.Nature's beauty on top.Bad or actually lagging is that I don't know Sambalpuri. That might develop communication gap between others. Being a belonging of Odisha it is the best place to get my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Faculty are great. Student ratio is little bit a Matter of concern. Girls is to boys ratio is not that good. The faculty are highly qualified professionals from NIT , IIT, IIIT and other reputed institution. Exams happen here as scheduled. Not so difficult to pass if have all basic concepts cleared.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Yaa I opted for one internship one month back. It was a content writer internship. Experience was good. And now I am an intern at edureka under the full stack web development online program.

Placement Experience

6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. All top companies have visited our college and students are too placed in high packages. Byju's , Amazon, Google, wipro, Infosys are some of the top companies our students have been placed. Highest package for last year was 40 lakh a girl got placed in Google.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure and cost to study is moderate and affordable. Scholarship, Financial Assistance & Job you got on campus with stipend is good here. Financial assistance is given to the backward students. Job assurance is provided. All courses are also detailed.

Campus Life

4.5

Being a first year student I don't know anything about these fests and functions. But as per my seniors there are total 19 clubs both tech and non- tech included. Where we do various innovative works on national and international level too. sports & extracurricular activities on the campus are a must. Overall it is full of sports and extra curriculum activities.

Hostel Facilities

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Buckle up Journey in Vssut

I have applied to only Outr(formerly Cet Bhubaneswar). I have applied on the technical branches, but got none of them as my rank was around 152000. As Cet is not very good for its core branches, so I preferred Vssut over it. To get technical branches in cet bhubaneswar your rank should be under 50000 in Jee mains. The admission process is through the OJEE COUNSELLING. It is the counselling only for the students of odisha and anyone out of Odisha appearing the OJEE examination. The eligibility of our college is 45 percent. The admission process is quite hassle free. As once you got the seat in ojee counselling....Read More

I applied for outr Bhubaneswar and vssut burla. I was getting electrical branches in both the colleges. But in outr there are not enough hostels for student neither the campus is that much attracting. O the other hand vssut have total 11 hostel and can accommodate every student studying and the campus is also somewhat good. But for csit branches there are not enough facilities in vssut To get admission here you have to get a rank in jee main exam and have to go through ojee counselling. To get to cse branch your all India rank must be within 1lakhs and for electrical branch its about 1.5lakhs and for lower branches production rank does not matter that must there are seats pending vacant you can get them via spot counselling...Read More
