Entrance Preview

All India engineering Entrance Examination,Which is conducted by CBSE. It is all india level examination and mostly government and some self financed institute participate for admitting students in engineering courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

My stream is electrical and electronics. Due to rapidaly growth in industrialisation,Automation and growth in population demand of electrical power is increasing rapidally. There is a lot of scope in this stream in india as a developing country. The demand curve of power is increasing.so we need to provide the power more by non-conventional resources.

Internships Opportunities

No,There is no any internship provided by the college. The state governments from various states provide scholarship for their students. No company is came here for internship.

Placement Experience

0.5

In electrical and electronics branch there is no any placement form this college. They make us fool. Their fee is 95,000 from our 2013 batch. They done many promises at the time of admission that they will provide better faculty from IIT, NIT and many companies came here for placement but there is no any company seen from us from last three years.

College Events

1.5

College conduct every year sports day and conduct annual day first time in last three years. The singer celebrity was Dilbag singh,a punjabi singer and they also conduct holy festival in last year. But for conducting these activities they collect money from us. The various indoor and outdoor games are played like cricket, Volleyball, chess, running ,javlin throw etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure varies from student to student. We are giving 95,000 to them, but in same branch same class same bench same faculty those are admitted direct without any compitative examination they are giving 60000. Some of are giving 50000 because the seats are vacant. Many students leaved from this college due to high fee of our batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no any scholarship is provided by the college. They provide only 5000 rs award for those who score more than 85%. There is special scholarship for girls.

Campus Life

3

There is overall 200 students from all the streams and all four years.the gender ratio is atleast 4:1.But in my branch there is total fourteen no. Of students in which six are girls and eight are boys. In mechanical and civil there is only one girl out of twenty five students. College conducted every year sports day of two days.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel facility is not so good.I can't tell more about it because i leaved in hostel only for one month. But the hostel building is tall and having many rooms .The annual fee of hostel including mess charge is 70000. At hostel there is wi-fi facility for students. Air conditioning room is also available for students with extra charge.

Exam Structure

Exam is conducted at the home centre but the exam is taken very strictly. Lab was taken in previous first and second year but in third year they have no lab equipment for performing experiment.

Admission

First off all,I appeared for JEE Mains examination and i score more than cut off marks and qualified for counselling. The counselling was held on four phases, phase1, phase2, spot round and extra spot round. I was selected in spot round because my rank was not good and due to lack of online counselling knowledge.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty in this college from my branch was good when i got admitted but due to low salary the leave this college. Now the teaching level of the faculty is very poor from my point of view.and also for third year and fourth year students there is shortage of lab equipments. The faculty is experienced but they are unable to discuss the topic without books.

teaching aspect, exam conduction is fine. except they can give more break (1 or 2 day) between exams, rest all is good. The exams are not that difficult. The level i would say on a scale of 1 to 10, is around 6.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I thought I would have a wide range of options to choose from later. This curriculum prepares us moderately I will say. Academically subjects are what we need, but I feel semesters are too short to complete everything. while semester we are like rushing first minor then within a month we have majors. it feels too overwhelming as we have to do subjects like cs gp too. which take a lot of time. then assignments. then lab workbooks are to be completed then we have to complete the syllabus and then minor and after a month only we have majors it is very hectic.

I had interest in full stack development, wanted to create websites. This course has collaboration with Xebia which provides a better learning approach for full stack No much improvement if the teacher appointed is great Timings of exam is really average but it is somewhat easy. Lookout for some exams because the faculty sometimes makes tough and tricky paper just to fail students
