Remarks

Yes, I applied for the Kalinga institute of technology(KIIT). I haven't availed any quota. My admission is on a merit base. In admission for VIT Vellore, you have to take an exam VITEEE. Students secure a minimum of 75% in PCM. The maximum age is 16 years.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I am interested in Computer science and engineering so that's why I have chosen this course. All faculties of VIT is a well qualified, well-trained degree of PhD, MTECH, BTECH etc. Every exam is held on time and it's easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides many in campus internships, many companies approach VIT to hire interns on basis of exams on their coding and programming experience. Previous year TCS, Upgrad, Swiggy have come for providing in campus internships to students.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6-7 semesters. On our campus, many of the companies offered avg. 7lac/annum like Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, Upgrad, Flipkart etc and many more. More than 80% are getting placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

VIT charge Rs. 2.5 lac per annum only tuition fees for B-tech in computer science and engineering. Hostel fees will be rs. 1.2 lac per annum for 3 sharing. The student with maximum marks and a good rank in VITEEE will secure scholarships based on their ranks. VIT offers many part-time jobs, internships with more stipends.

Campus Life

Riviera is the VIT's annual international sports and cultural carnival held in February. VIT has a very huge number of books on its campus library and it also has an online library. Some amenities are the Cultural environment, descent classroom, Descent hostel, well maintained campus, well furnished classroom, full wi-fi campus, All labs are provided etc. VIT also provide some sports facility like volleyball, basketball, cricket.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
