Remarks

This college is a part of Delhi University. The admission is based on merit that is basically class 12th percentage. Around 92-97 is the average cutoff. The cutoffs are different based on different cast categories. It is a women's college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

BA program has a diverse range of choices related to choosing subjects. Moreover, the teaching faculty is very helpful and highly qualified. Around 30 students are there in a class with one teacher. The examinations were recently held in online mode due to covid restrictions and very open book based and were fairly easy to moderate.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The college has great scope for internship opportunities right from joining. They also have a placement cell that helps students to polish their skills so that they can get good internships. Many multinational companies have given placements and job opportunities to students with an average salary package of 6-7 lakhs.

Placement Experience

3

The college provides internship opportunities for all students. A fresher student can also get internships here. The college has an average placement high in the computers and commerce field and a little low in arts. Major students are getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

However, the fee structure is different for different subjects but taking average it lies between 20,000-30,000. Major scholarships are provided to financially incapable students or those who belong to economically weaker sections. Talking about the on job placements, it is quite fair not so good not bad but an average kind of placements are expected.

Campus Life

5

As it is a part of Delhi university it has a diverse crowd from every part of the country and even outside. Many events and programs are conducted all over the year and involve immense participation from all over with a joyful environment all around the campus. The library is well maintained and contains books related to every topic of interest. The college has wide sports facilities like basketball, cricket, badminton, swimming, table tennis and many more. Moreover, it also contains a gym which can be accessed by any student. Many clubs and societies are made for extracurricular activities like dance, music, drama, writing, poetry, etc.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.
