Remarks
Sharda is a very reputable University in North India. They are well known and have a good name in the field of academics. They also had good placement rates, so that was why I applied at Shards for my MBA. The admissions are an online process; registering and uploading documents are the first step. If shortlisted, we will be called in for a GD/PI. A valid CAT score is important for admissions.
Course Curriculum Overview
The department of management was very efficient. They conducted seminars, discussions and talks in addition to the regular classes. We were given a lot of exposure to the industrial matters. Our internship was also very helpful. Our syllabus was research oriented, and dealt with both theoretical and practical topics.
Placement Experience
Wipro, Deloitte and Amazon are among the top recruiters. And more than 60 companies recruit from our institution. The placements are usually conducted in the third semester. 90% students got placed during my batch. And the highest salary offered was 14 LAP and the average was 7 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the whole course is around 5 lakhs. There are scholarships and other aids for students. It is better to apply for loans. Another option is financial help provided by the university. They are all given based on the need.
Campus Life
The whole campus was constructed recently, so everything is new and well maintained. The library is huge and gives free access to books of all subjects. The computer facilities are also very efficient. The campus was secular so no religious festivals are celebrated; other cultural and sports events were regularly conducted.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are allotted during the admission time. The rooms can be single or shared. The rent depends on the number of people using the room. They are all well-furnished, and the bathrooms have running water 24 hours. The mess food is also good, it is neat and hygienic
