Remarks

I did my MCA programme at NIT Warangal and I'm super proud of myself that I was able to make it to the best of NIT institute. For me it was a great step in my life as I was going to learn from the best. NIT-W is arguably the best NIT and its position in latest NIRF rankings tells briefly about its fame. Admission process for the MCA programme here includes a relevant score in NIMCET exam which is followed by the counselling round for seat allocations.

Course Curriculum Overview

MCA programme is majorly designed to provide students detailed analysis about different programming languages, coding etc and it is a great option for those who wish to make a career in the related field or job roles or even go into development. The opportunities are endless because of the advancement technology has been recording. The institute offered us the best of faculty staff to learn from and that was one major reason for the kind of growth students had.

Internships Opportunities

NIT Institutes have name all across the country and that's why some top level Internships were obtained by our college during the round. It was great for students because they were also able to earn for some of their finances, while the learnings they got were above satisfactory

Placement Experience

Around 22 students of our MCA programme got recruited under highly valued packages with an average salary of INR 10.5 LPA. Popular tech companies such as Samsung, ITC, Adobe, Microsoft etc appeared for the campus placements while the highest salary offered to my batch was around INR 22.25 Lacs. Beside our MCA programme, all BTech & Management branches also recorded great packages.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Annual charges to pursue the famous MCA programme from NIT Warangal is INR 2.24 Lacs which is distributed ahead as INR 75,000 on annual basis. Students having a good score in the entrance or those from SC/ST category can apply for some aids or scholarships they are eligible for.

Campus Life

I used to participate in almost all coding, technical and industrial competitions during my MCA days with NIT Warangal because they always helped me to believe in myself and work harder for the future. The institute also conducted annual fresher-farewell parties, cultural fest and popular sports activities too. Computer lab of our institute was highly advanced and it had high speed internet availability also.

Hostel Facilities

NIT Warangal had a number of courses and students for all these programmes opted for the hostel facilities as per their needs. The facilities in the hostels were great, because they gave me enough time and comfort to give focus on my studies. The food served by tye mess was also well prepared and it was served in a mannered way without any rush. The best thing was that our room maintenance was done by the hostel staff after frequent time and it helped us to have a great living experience

Admission

Applying for MCA admissions in our college requires a Bachelor's degree in the related stream with the minimum eligibility of marks along with a valid score in the NIMCET entrance exam. Students who have applied for admissions get to appear in the counselling procedure and they only the final selections are completed.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are fairly good. The college has a dedicated placement cell that helps students prepare for recruitment through aptitude tests, technical training, communication and interview-skills sessions, and placement drives.

Dislikes

The college maintains strict discipline, which can sometimes feel restrictive for students.
Attendance requirements are quite strict.
Some procedures and permissions can be time-consuming and rigid.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally available for final-year B.Pharmacy students, with eligibility usually starting from the 7th semester. Companies may offer roles in pharmaceutical sales, quality control, production and related fields. Package and number of offers vary each year, so I would not mention unverified figures. The college provides placement support, but students should also focus on internships and skill development. After graduation, I plan to pursue higher studies or seek a suitable opportunity in the pharmaceutical industry.

Force to wear shoes slippers not allowed
The lunch break is too short, so there isn’t enough free time to relax.
No college programs or festivals. the college focuses only on studies.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Pharmaceutical and healthcare companies visit the campus and offer roles in sales, production, quality control, regulatory affairs and clinical research. The highest and average packages vary by company and year, usually depending on the profile offered. A good percentage of eligible students get placed. After completing my B.Pharm, I plan to gain industry experience and pursue higher studies or specialize in a suitable field.

Likes

Food availability and other requirements in the college are good
The amount of events they conduct to create about drug free society
They ask us to acquire good pharmacist skills in the early stages

Dislikes

The college is very disciplined. It works very systematically
The college management do not allow us without identity card and proper uniform
The college staff do not permit into the labs without apron

Placement Experience:

All the best company takes the students for interviews. Our Dean sir do his best to make sure every child get the job in the college it self. He is very dedicated towards the placements through his connections

Packages vary by company, with average offers around ₹3–5 LPA. Placement percentage is moderate. After graduation, I plan to pursue higher studies and build my career.

Likes

The main thing i like in this college is because of its placements and reputation of this college is very high among others
The engagement with campus life is good and we can talk with many anywhere in the campus like junior and senior
The faculty is very experienced and we have different types of teaching methods in the campus

Dislikes

My collage is very old and it need renovoation and they should add more items in canteen because the college is for 2pm
If we late for 5 to 10min then the gates will be closed and opened after 1hr till that time we should wait outside the college

Placement Experience:

Even from 1th sem we are eligible for placement and there aee many companies like infosis etc. And average package is about 5lpa the percentage of students getting placed is around like 60-85%. My plans after degree is to open some business

Likes

New infrastructure when I joined it is like a old structure now they are improving it
Teacher's are very nyc to us I don't know about the juniors
Peaceful no sound pollution u can enjoy it as much as u want

Dislikes

Favortism like some teachers only care about some students
Money everything should come from the student's pocket
They force u to pay the college fee as soon as possible or else they put lot of charges

Placement Experience:

Final year is eligible for campus selection Microsoft turtle Accenture wipro mahindra etc., near to 50 54 lpa is highest but it is out side the campus lowest is 2 lpa 100 people 40 percentage will get job Job and bussiness don't know When will be the layoff so sidde hustlel

MRIMS, one of the best Underrated Deemed medical college.

Likes

The hospitals affiliated to medical college have an excellent patient flow, there are 4 hospitals of malla Reddy in the campus, there's a Narayana multi-speciality hospital, mother & child care hospital, malla Reddy hospital and cancer hospital.
There are more than sufficient sports activities available at the college, there is a huge football ground and cricket ground, turf, basketball court badminton court and table tennis
The food in the mess is really great, non-veg food is served daily, there are a lot of food stalls of cafes and other major brands inside the campus like Barista. The lecture halls, practical labs and classrooms are well maintained and spacious.

Dislikes

The vegetarian dishes made in lunch usually suck, but I'd say in comparison to other hostels, the hostel of this college serves edible food, but in comparison to non veg dishes the vegetarian dishes don't taste that good, so veg people face problems
There's a lot of construction going on in the campus as of now, which makes the campus look aesthetically non-pleasing, but it's only for the time being as it recently got converted to deemed University they are upping the standard of the infra.
The hostel room given to some of the boys are relatively bad to the other hostel rooms. We weren't given tables, cupboards and chairs when we arrived at hostel, after a month we were provided all the basic necessities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is CBME approved, so there's no need to worry about the curriculum. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has introduced a new Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum for the MBBS program in India. This curriculum focuses on practical, patient-centric learning, integrating subjects, and early clinical exposure. It emphasizes the development of specific competencies, such as clinical skills, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. The curriculum is divided into three phases: Foundational, Organ System-Based Clinical, and Clinical. Assessment includes continuous assessment, practical exams, theory exams, and OSCEs.
