Remarks
I got selected through REAP you can find about REAP on the website. I had good marks in JEE so I got selected. There is a reservation quota but I didn't need that. They also take students other than reap by personal interviews if any seats are left. The admission process is good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I got this course in my counselling. And in mechanical it was government seat so I opt this. For future government engineering jobs. The faculty is really good and educated. Midterms and end terms happen from time to time and the difficulty level I'd say was 3 out of 5.
Internships Opportunities
There aren't a lot of internship opportunities. One local company HMT provided some internships but no stipend. You have to find an internship through Internshala and all or go to other city and find it on your own. In the first year, we did summer training of AutoCad in our college.
Placement Experience
The placements are below average. At least for the Mechanical branch, but it's not entirely college fault. There are fewer opportunities in the mechanical branch if you compare it to other branches. Recently L&T and Denso visited our campus, 6lpq and 4lpa offers were offered 2 of my friends got selected in Denso. My plans are I'll prepare for the gate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is decent, it's lesser than most colleges. I got a Government seat so I just had to pay a 50% fee. It's provided by the government. I'm still in my 4th year, I don't have a job right now. There aren't a lot of campus placement companies in mechanical but still, some companies come. But if you're from Cs/It there are a lot of opportunities.
Campus Life
Campus life is good, the area of campus is massive. If you ask me the area can be used in a much better way. Freshers and annuals happen every year around September, and There is a library which is really good, a lot of books are available. And in every semester you are provided books from the book bank. Classrooms are really good they are air-conditioned and Samsung flip is applied in them, so totally smart classrooms. A lot of workshops and tech fests happen throughout the year. There are some pubg, cricket and volleyball groups.
