A Propulsion engineer of CET

We need a good score in Btech even though we don't have a GATE score we can apply through DTE site. If we have GATE then we will get a stipend of approx 12k per month. Reservation are provided for different category and a rank list will be published based on the GATE and Btech marks.

Propulsion stream is only available in CET under KTU. It have good research fields too so those who aee interested in doing Phd, propulsion engineering is a best option. Some of my seniors got into ISRO, IIT and IISC. Exams are easier than Btech main thing is doing a good project.

CGPU helps to provide internships and faculty also helps to get some internships. In case of propulsion engineering some are doing project work in ISRO, VSSC etc. This year there is no company for mtech mechanical provide internship in propulsion core aeea.

A lot of companies are there and approx 100 percentage placement is get in computer department. Mechanical and civil have less placement in core companies than other departments. Most of IT companies did a mass recruitment and the placement cell is very helpful and active, CET got a strong alumini too so we will get good connections also, CGPU provide training also for students free of cost

Since its a government college the fees are less initially I need to pay 11k and later 6k per year which is covered by the Egrantz scholarship. Egrantz is applicable for specifuc category with income less than 4lpa, GATE scholars get stipend every month.

The campus is excellent due to its greenery and spacious. We have a lot to see in the college evry day their will be some programmes organized by either students union or clubs. Btech students are the one who are leading these events compared to Mtech students. Some labs need maintenance.

Comparing to Mens hostel food is poor in ladies hostel, MH got very good food and all. LH got good and clean environment but the food is not good and their is a curfew of 9.30pm. We need to pay for the small electric works and all. MH is far better than LH in case of food
