Remarks

Great infrastructure and supportive teacher. Campus life is good. Festival are celebrated in great joy. Many extra activities are done in academic section. Technical fest is celebrated for whole week in month of September. Sports week is celebrated in the month of April

Course Curriculum Overview

Practical work are done in good way which help student to learn more in technical field. Faculty are very friendly roeard the student. Faculty members are highly graduated Lecture are provided time to toke and complete the syllabus on time.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Many internships are provided by the college. College has its own robotics arm room where student can learn interesting study of robotics. Many internships certificate provided by colleges Thank you.

Placement Experience

Placement of the college is good. Many IT company visit every year to provided job for the student This procedure start after the 6th semester starts. Minimum package is 3.5 lac and the highest can be upto 10 lac

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for the year is high if your are general category student but many schorship are provided for economically backward students. For OBC student, fees is 50% of actual fees. There is no such on campus job.

Campus Life

Firstly there is technical fest in the month of September. Annual fest is in the month of March. Sports week is in the month of April Lots of book are available in library and can be borrowed for the week.

Hostel Facilities

No hostel provided by the college. If student want the rent house they can contact ti the faculty member. Faculty so help to find the rent room. As the college is in middle of the city there is no such problem to find house.

Admission

No. There was no such group discussion or interview during the addmision. College are alloted by the DTE according to the marks obtained in CET exam If the student gets more marks than the cut off of the selected college you get the addmision.

After completion of the course the placement is provided by the college at different platforms and in various hospitals . And if we want to continue for higher education that is post graduation then we can further proceed accordingly.

Government Polytechnic Thane – My College Experience

Likes

As it is government collage, but still it have high level computer labs and high end computer for hevy coding
The collage teaching staff is very friendly and supportive
The collage arrange many competitions like quiz competition, sport tournaments and celebrate many festivels with fun.

Dislikes

The collage building is too old and not have well developed sport ground
The classrooms don't have Digi board or TV for didital learning and have old blackboard
The teachers don't take regular lactures, student have to study on it's own

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and covers important technical subjects. I choose IT because I was interested in computers and technology. It provides basic practical knowledge through lab work and projects, which is helpful for further studies. It can be improved by adding more latest technologies and practical learning. There are 2 unit tests in each semester followed by the final end sem exam. Exams are mostly moderate in difficulty.

Teaching is very good in my college, the faculty here is expert and pays well attention to the students.
It has a good competitive environment and overseas a great place to study

Dislikes

Weak infrastructure,needs a lot of redevelopment in some buildings
Lack of amphitheatre and many other amenities in the campus
Hostels are not well equipped and facilities provided are poor

Curriculum is CBME one now, with all good changes like early clinical exposure, ensuring timely clinical postings of every year. It helps for the future pursuits and there are 4 exams per year with a gap of 1 to 2 months.

Likes

Faculty is good ,anti ragging campus , good environment
Ganpati and navratri is celebrated together it's amazing
Pratyush is held which has many events there's a week full of events different days are held

Dislikes

Fees is very high there's no concession as per caste it's same for everyone
Canteen food is expensive and there isn't separate canteen for ayurveda even RAIT students occupies the space
Only problem of college is it's expenses , even the building is not separate for ayurveda there's school of small kids and also hospital on 1st floor Even after paying 8 lakh college doesn't provide any lockers for students

Ayurveda is the ancient knowledge of medicine which also helps us to be a good human being if you study in detail it will also improve your sanskar and you'll definitely be a great human so it's very helpful and there are many diseases which can be completely cured by ayurveda as allopathy suppress the disease or pain but ayurveda completely cures it so I choosed this field About exams it's how 3 hours periodic exams of each subject are held every month 3 periodics each for 15 marks is held then1st term exam occurs after 6 months again 3 periodic are held then 2nd term again 3 periodic of each subject then university exam is held . University is also of 3 hours but there are 2 papers for each subject except for samhita And viva is also taken even in term exams for university external teachers are there for viva and for term faculty takes the viva

As I have mentioned previously as curriculum is old with old syllabus you may find it irrelevant. As curriculum is old you may not find useful in active jobs You may need to find extra other courses in college

My course is artificial intelligence and machine learning which is a really interesting diploma. We have a practical lab for practicals and computers are available to us. Exams are conducted every 2 months and then semesters.

I had applied for Thakur college of engineering which was the nearest to my house and also in St. Francis college of engineering. I think Thakur could have been a better option but due to my less percentile I had to go in Athrava and that too management category. The only thing I liked about my college is its aimbience and vibe it gives you a vibe of a decent yet somewhat modern college. The admission process was seamless no difficulty faced at all.
