MBA at IBS

I took the IBSAT exam, and then we went to Hyderabad for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview. We were given a score out of 100, and I received 92.2 percent. We had Induction Sessions for a week before starting regular classes. Students must have completed their graduation or be in their final year of graduation to be eligible for enrollment. The minimum age requirement is 18 years old, with no upper age limit.

The syllabus is the same for the first two semesters, and in the third semester, we must choose our specialization, which I am doing in Human Resources, with a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:60, professors with corporate expertise, masters or Ph.D. degrees, and job experience of at least 5 years. Exams are held every two months, and we are constantly assessed through assignments, quizzes, research presentations, and group activities.

Every student is given the chance to undertake an internship, and it is required of all students. Amul, Fraxjotic, Xanadu, Hul, and more companies have visited our campus. Every student in an internship must complete a project that will be evaluated and graded.

Our placement programme begins in the third semester, and to be eligible for placement, a student must have paid all fees and have a CGPA of at least 5.5. Companies such as ITC, JPMC, ICICI, HDFC, and DHL come to our campus for placements, with the average package being 6.5 lakhs last year and the top package being 17 lakhs and over 90% of students getting placed each year.

Although I believe that the cost of education is relatively high, we do offer scholarships, campus placements, and further aid with upskilling and soft skills, as well as webinars and domain-related events and competitions. The overall price for IBS Mumbai is 810000, which is payable in five equal payments, with financial aid available to students who require it. The college offers merit scholarships to students based on their achievement in semester exams.

Our annual festival called Konflux is put on by various student clubs in the month of January. The college has its own library with a variety of domains and subjects related to research material, premium business journals, and magazines. We also have clubs and groups dedicated to various facets such as art, craft, sports analytics, human resources, and so on, which cover largely all non-curricular and curriculum activities. The groups also organise sports, lectures, quizzes, and other activities for the students' overall growth.

Everyone is required to take GD and PI. Business news, economics, current events, and other themes are among the GD topics. Which is better: nationalized or privatized banks. That was my GD topic. They inquired about my personal background, professional aspirations, and objectives throughout the Personal Interview. They also quizzed me on my general knowledge.
