Students must have passed +2 examination or diploma including one of the following subjects Mathematics/statistics with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45%marks for sc/st candidates). You can find all the details about this course on the official website of Utkal University. Integrated MCA saves 1 year. You can start to work early which means you can learn more things on your job, So it is not a bad choice to pursue if you just want a bachelors degree. I want to add some extra subjects to the entrance exam of IMCA like GK, English and Reasoning.

This course is centralized over computer science which includes various programming languages, conceptual subjects like DBMS, OS, COMPUTER NETWORK. There are 2 semesters and an internal exam per semester held per year. The semester is held in line with others colleges as it is in the academic calendar. There are 4-5 internal faculties and 9-10 external faculties are there in IMCA there are 5 batches/years of students and each batch consists of 60 students. All faculty are high skilled and their teaching methods are very professionals. Exams are moderately difficult,for students who would've studied CS earlier.

In my knowledge, there is no stipend system though in the course but placement cell's sir and mam always provide us with the latest internships and job related information through our Whatsapp groups. They create opportunities like TCS, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI, DELOITTE recruitment exams.

There are no campus placements, but instead, there's a placement cell, where students can provide their applications and they will be recommended to the different companies by the university. After the completion of BCA i.e. 6th sem, the student are eligible for applying in the placement cell.

The fees are currently 40,000 per year. There are scholarships that are valuable but not by the college, but instead from the government. So if any student qualifies for a scholarship & if they wish to avail themselves, they have to complete the scholarship form on the scholarship's website & submit the form to the department.

There are all kinds of fest are conducted here like annual functions, farewells, welcome party and many more. The department has its own library & if you can't find a book there, there's a huge library that's for the whole university.
