Remarks

I joined in the B.Tech-CSE, eligibility for joining in this course is must have 70% or above in 12th class with Mathematical background. Need to attempt State Board Engineering entrance exam with a good score and rank or need to apply with JEE scores for B - category seats. All details regarding the admission process will be available on the college site i.e "www.cmritonline.in" My admission process went smooth and good starting from certificate verification to stepping into college all are very well organized.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I joined the Computer Science and Engineering stream with having an interest in software technologies and various opportunities it has in the future so I opted for this. The faculty vs students ratio is very well maintained on the campus so that students will get great exposure to upskill well. A highly qualified set of Professors, teaching staff are like pillars for the institute which gives us a bucket of options to select ourselves.

Internships Opportunities

5

Many tech companies and non - tech companies have offered internship offers to students will decent stipend. Companies like Optum, Capgemini, Epam, and more given roles like Software analyst, Automation engineer, Developer etc are provided to the students. Some core companies like L&T gave site engineers and QA roles.

Placement Experience

5

The opportunity of placements will begin in the 6th semester and continue till 8th semester with a good academic background. For the last 3 years, more than 100+ companies are visiting to campus from various sectors including core sectors and more than 700+ students are getting offers in those companies. The average package will be in the range of Rs.400000 to Rs.500000 per annum for the year 2021 the highest package is Rs.26.5 lakhs in tech joint Amazon as an SDE. More than 70% of students are getting offers based on their knowledge. My plan is that I joined as a fresher in an IT MNC and plan to pursue a Master in abroad. The college Training and Placements team will be excellent in this placements matters.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is around Rs.75000 per annum, when I studied now it is around Rs.95000 per annum. The fees policy states that once we are regulated to a year, the same fees will continue throughout our course of study. The Scholarship will be provided based on the various government schemes students who joined on regular basis can get up to Rs.30000 as a scholarship and some merit students can get extra benefits. I got selected in 2 - IT MNC's with CTC of 3.8 lakhs and 4.5 lakhs respectively through college placements.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest is celebrated in the month of March every year title as"Cultura" and tech fests are also organized every year. The library of the college is a backbone with a great infrastructure with all books of all streams and a digital library facility is also available. Amenities in classrooms are excellent with all digital equipment installed in each and every classroom. Sports events are conducted throughout the year led by campus sports cell and extracurricular activities are also a part a college Social groups like NSS and many clubs are running with students' interests.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility is another gem to the campus with a good atmosphere and clean rooms with a cot, bed and a study table is provided to every student. Wifi is also available and good power backup. Hostel food will be excellent with morning tea and milk breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner all are hygienic and good. I stayed in campus hostel till my 3rd year then I moved to a PG in Kompally. Once we get admission to the college hostel registration can also be done there itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
