The eligibility for getting a seat in this college is through VITEEE examination. If you get more rank, you get lesser fees. The application fee for the exam is 1100/-. The application can be find online. Reservations is only for economically backward sections with a liable fees and it can be only provided if get a very good rank, say below 500. The admission process is good but the intake of students is very High so it shall be decreased.

I chose this course because I had interest in IoT and fortunately i got the one i wanted. The student faculty ratio is 4:1. The faculty here are qualified with higher degrees and doctorates and have done a pretty good research in their respective subjects. the teaching is good. There are two term exams in every sem named CAT and it is not that difficult to pass according to me.

The average stipend approximately is 20000/- per month can there are many people who got more than this figure. The projects are those who are specified by respective companies and sometimes you can make your project with the help of faculties.

They start to place the students from 6th semester. Interships can also be available on basis of your grade and exams conducted by the respective companies. There are many companies visited VIT like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart Infosys, Cisco etc. The average package in year 2020-21 is around 8 LPA and the highest offered is around 43 LPA. Fortunately, VIT has scored 100% placements in past few years. I plan to do a job or go to abroad for upper studies after getting the degree.

The fee policy is divided into five categories with fees 200000, 307000, 400000, 450000 and 498000. According to your rank you may get the seat of respective course and category. Say i got 4975 rank and I got CSE with spec. in IoT with category-2 fee. Speaking of scholarships it is often rare to get and only for economically backward sections.

The annual fest in VIT called riveria and it is conducted annually in February. It has been not conducted because of the coronavirus pandemic since two years. There are many books in the library and it's very huge. The classrooms are pretty good. There is no lack of extra curricular activities in the campus and sports are very well facilitated in the campus. There are 150 clubs, social groups and chapters in VIT .

The room has bed and desk but no attached bathroom. They have common bathrooms here but they're very clean and sufficient to enough students living in the hostel. The meal quality and menu is excellent and you can get to choose whatever food you want like vegetarian, non-vegetarian. The registration process of hostels is based on first come first seve basis and it is quite affordable. People who live 60 kilometres from Vellore can stay in their parents, PGs or with guardians with a pass provided to them.
