Remarks
The eligibility for the course is 10+2. We used to fill the forms through the college website itself but from next year maybe Central university combined entrance test be conducted. The reservations benefits are as per govt norms. 27 ? for OBCs, 14.5% for SCs and 7.5% for STs, 10% for EWS and other reservations for PWD candidates and employees ward are also there.
Course Curriculum Overview
Like everyone, need a graduation degree for appearing for various exams so did I. I had commerce in my 10+2 So I choose to study B.com (hons). The faculty ratio was really good. girls were at par with boys in a number. Teachers were highly qualified and well trained. The terms exams used to be conducted in time. Results also used to be timely uploaded on the portal. It was not difficult at all to pass the term exam only a student that will not study at all might fail.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement only after the 5th semester. though there are not many companies that come to hire students. The packages are around 15,000 to 25,000. Most of the students don't sit for placements most of them go for further studies. I am also one of them.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in college were really nominal. while studying you could apply for various scholarships including a state scholarship or national scholarship you can even apply for a private scholarship. There is less number of firms coming to hire B.com graduates and they give limited salaries too as far as I have heard .
Campus Life
There is a yearly fest named spandan that is conducted every year. you will get a chance to participate in many societies, councils, and clubs. In Bhu every faculty have a separate library plus there is a central library for everyone where you can find books and journals of your choice. classes are well furnished there are computer labs. There is NCC, NSS, MOUNTAINEERING CLUB, RED RIBBON SOCIETY on the campus. You will find rhetorical a debate society, Finance and economic think council a think tank on policy research and many other interesting initiatives by the students.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are really good. you will get a sharing room in an undergraduate course with one bed and one table/chair.you will also get 8 GB of free wifi. The food is of Good quality and cheap. One meal is around 50 rupees which includes a balanced diet and sweets. The non-vegetarian diet is 60 and 80. In case you rent a room you will get it between 1500 to 3500, 2bhk flats are available in 7000 and PGs you will find from 4500 to 7500.
