Entrance Preview

The exam I took up was an AIEEE. I opted for this college because I had known that the Chancellor and the management team is very dynamic and result oriented. They focused on quality education. They provided all the necessary infrastructure needed for all round development of Engineers. I had opted for ECE as the branch as I had a good amount of interest in electronics over IT and computers.

Internships Opportunities

I did my final year project work at a Bangalore based company and I had a very good learning experience. The stipend was good for a student to survive.

Placement Experience

4.5

Very good placement opportunities with average salary package ranging from 4-5 lacs. The placement cell is very active, they keep training students on various skills needed to suceed in corporate world.

College Events

Annual days, department symposium, national conferences and a few cultural and literary events including essay writing and so on. Technical guest lectures by eminent professionals from academics and industry used to be organized on a regular basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very much feasible. There is no donation or capitation fees. The annual tuition fees was around Rs.25000 which was the fees precribed by Anna University.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail. But I know my friends had availed some scholarship facility that was being driven by the government of Tamilnadu. I heard my friends had taken education loan as well from several recognized banks.

Alumni/Alumna

All seniors and alumni are well connected. There is a lot of information exchange on the latest trends in technology, job posting, certificate courses and so on.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very well planned. Each subject is usually divided into theory and labs. Exams were not easy and they tested all the learning we got during the whole semester.

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

Total experience of Agni college of technology

The college admission process is made too easy with our friendly staff members. The school marks percentage is the eligibility. The cutoff is changes yearly according to the courses . I'm so glad that I chose Agni College of Technology for my higher education. The faculty here is really knowledgeable and supportive.
